“First timer and the experience was everything! There was a 45min. wait but it was a Sunday and normal brunch rush. Our servers name was Blake and he was nothing less than exceptional as well as very accommodating. I love when a server knows the food they serve and that can also give good suggestions. I ordered the Cinnamon sugar bites & the Fajita Bowl-SO GOOD! Very fresh and filling. Me, My girlfriend and friends felt welcomed and definitely will be back!! Thank you 🖤”

“The lunch specials are priced well for the amount of food. My food was not as hot as I prefer, but it was still a warm enough temperature. I came to lunch fairly late so that is likely why it was not piping hot. The spiciness was a little low, but I also understand that this is due to the lunch specials being prepped in large quantities and most people don't want the same level of spice as I do. However, I was told that I can ask for more spice and they will be happy to provide it! U will ferment this for next time. Apart from the above minor concerns, everything else was great. Beautiful, clean environment; friendly staff; quiet but not silent ambiance. I will be back soon.”

“Brought my parents here for the first time (we’d eaten at the other location before). They loved it!! The two guys working yesterday were awesome & helpful! The food is always fresh & so delicious! “Food was pretty good. I got the fries and double cheeseburger. Burger was actually seasoned. Kool-aid and fried biscuits we're good. Fried biscuits similar to the ones at Asian restaurants but much better plus comes with a very tasty apple butter. Wait time was extremely long. Was told 15 minutes took almost an hour so you might want to call ahead.”

“The lovely people here made me what is easily the juiciest, most flavorful, well-seasoned pork tenderloin in 100 miles. It’s really an authentic tonkatsu in pork tenderloin sandwich form. If it were served instead with shredded cabbage salad with sesame dressing, rice, and miso soup, it would easily stand up to any Japanese restaurant tonkatsu around, including what I have eaten in Osaka, Kyoto, or Tokyo. By the way the sandwich was constructed, it is obvious that the person who made it cares a lot about the art and craft of preparing food. The bread to meat ratio was ideal. The way the mayo was applied and the way the tomatoes were placed. The same goes for the gumbo, which I was too full to finish. I don’t have pictures because I devoured the food. City Market is a real pain to get to right now, but the food at this place is worth the effort. To me, this is a gem in Indianapolis like Mitra Da Dhaba or Workingman’s Friend. I’m confident that anything you order from there will be made with the utmost care. The only things unappealing to me about the place are its signage, websites, and social media.”

“I found this restaurant on a local Facebook group and suddenly got a craving for tacos. The food exceeded my expectations in every way. I got the three taco special with the asada, carnitas, and cabeza tacos and rice and beans. All three were so good that I can't pick a favorite. The salsas were spicier than I expected but the salsa roja has an excellent flavor that paired nicely with the tacos.”

The deviled eggs are tangy and well seasoned. The beet tartar is earthy and lightly sweet, with the cream cheese is good. The chicken and waffles was awesome. The chicken breast is a little small, but the cornflake breading is very well done. The waffle is sweet and the tangy fruit offer a perfect offset. Honestly, the cream is one of the best parts. It was well seasoned and went perfectly with waffle and chicken.”

“We got food from here last week. The man working there (the owner maybe?) was very nice. He offered us some mango lassi while we waited on our order. We spent ~$30 between two people and we got so much food that we had leftovers for dinner the next day! The rice was really well done and very neatly packaged. Our entrees were full to the brim and the flavors were incredible. Indian is one my favorite styles of cuisine and I can honestly say this is one of the best places I've ever been. This is certainly the best place on the south east side of Indy/Beech Grove. Unfortunately, there's no inside seating so it's carry out only. Having said that, I'd choose this place over any sit down Indian restaurant around! It's unbeatable!”
