“This is a great little family run pizza shop on a side of town where there are few restaurants. It is right next to Wolf's BBQ which has been there for many years. I've never eaten in at highland pizza shop but I get takeout all the time because the sandwiches are very good and well priced for a takeout dinner. Sometimes at the counter they will have bones from a cow or a pig maybe I don't know to purchase for as a chew toy for your dog for only like a dollar each. My dogs love these things. The thin crust Pizza is our favorite and in the sandwiches the stromboli is the best on the north side.”

The staff have always been prompt and very friendly. The good is traditional BBQ style foods and are pretty solid. Anytime a dish ran low, they were quick to replenish. “Went in at 8:30 am. I was the only customer. The place smelled awesome. The fresh aromas was the first thing that I noticed walking in. The counter tech was friendly and built my sandwich to perfection. Good fresh food, fast at a reasonable price. The location is very near the airport making it convenient to get road food for a trip. It wasn't the best as I'm sure it could have been, they seemed a bit short staffed the day I am posting this, but the food was really good and they use the soda machine with the touch screen and many varieties, so that's pretty nice. I had their Italian Sub, and I really enjoyed it! Had plenty of ingredients on it in good portions and was full of flavor. Lots of flavors of hot sauces, but I wish they would keep this more organized and stocked. I saw a couple of flavors I would have liked to have tried, but were out. All in all, not a bad experience and would definitely give this place another try.”
