“The owners are two of the nicest hardest working people I have met in the Rathbun area since I have been vacationing in this area since 1984. Their business carries a wide variety of fishing, hunting, camping, boating, and swimming equipment. They are the only business I am aware of that will carry minnows for ice fisherman during the winter on the lake. Their prices are great, too! Every time I enter their business I am in awe at the craftsmanship and woodwork in this building. If you have not been inside this business to see the woodwork, you need to go. As for the food, I have eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and always terrific! I would recommend the biscuits/gravy as they bake fresh biscuits, not store bought. I have had eggs, bacon, hash browns, and french toast too and all have been great! I just got back yesterday from the Rathbun area and stopped in to see them on my way out. They made me a maid rite and I joked I came in to see if they had baked any Monster Cookies (my fav) lately. They had not, but by the time I was done with my maid rite they had a dozen baking in the oven! Only about half made it home as they were delicious warm and fresh. Where else will you get this kind of service? No where. I will continue to support this business as their good service, prices, and food warrant it.”

“This Mexican restaurant is in a fantastic location, and the experience was truly delightful. After hiking all morning at Honey Creek Park we were hungry! The highlight of our visit was the delicious and fresh food that exceeded our expectations. The menu offered a variety of flavorful dishes that satisfied our cravings for authentic Mexican cuisine. The outdoor area was particularly impressive, providing a lovely setting for dining with our furry friend. We were thrilled to discover that the restaurant was dog-friendly, and the staff went the extra mile by providing a treat and a water bowl for our dog. This thoughtful gesture enhanced our dining experience and made us feel welcome. To complement our meal, we decided to try the Margaritas, and we were not disappointed. They were truly refreshing and added a touch of indulgence to our dining experience. Overall, this Mexican restaurant offered a great location, delicious fresh food, and a dog-friendly atmosphere. The staff's attention to detail and the provision of treats and water for our dog were greatly appreciated.
