“Everyone at Bratz Shell is professional and courteous. Everything they have done for us has been 100% with no return visits. Bratz has been in business for many years and always been the place for tires, fuel, mechanical repairs. You won't be disappointed!”

“The owners are two of the nicest hardest working people I have met in the Rathbun area since I have been vacationing in this area since 1984. Their business carries a wide variety of fishing, hunting, camping, boating, and swimming equipment. They are the only business I am aware of that will carry minnows for ice fisherman during the winter on the lake. Their prices are great, too! Every time I enter their business I am in awe at the craftsmanship and woodwork in this building. If you have not been inside this business to see the woodwork, you need to go. As for the food, I have eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and always terrific! I would recommend the biscuits/gravy as they bake fresh biscuits, not store bought. I have had eggs, bacon, hash browns, and french toast too and all have been great! I just got back yesterday from the Rathbun area and stopped in to see them on my way out. They made me a maid rite and I joked I came in to see if they had baked any Monster Cookies (my fav) lately. They had not, but by the time I was done with my maid rite they had a dozen baking in the oven! Only about half made it home as they were delicious warm and fresh. Where else will you get this kind of service? No where. I will continue to support this business as their good service, prices, and food warrant it.”

“Well; it's the 1st I've ever heard of the Yesway convenience stores... BUT! Everything appeared to be normal; no crazies running around that I encountered...that's a good thing in my book. It's clean. It sells standard goods. I would liken it to a Casey's...for comparison.”

“This Mexican restaurant is in a fantastic location, and the experience was truly delightful. After hiking all morning at Honey Creek Park we were hungry! The highlight of our visit was the delicious and fresh food that exceeded our expectations. The menu offered a variety of flavorful dishes that satisfied our cravings for authentic Mexican cuisine. The outdoor area was particularly impressive, providing a lovely setting for dining with our furry friend. We were thrilled to discover that the restaurant was dog-friendly, and the staff went the extra mile by providing a treat and a water bowl for our dog. This thoughtful gesture enhanced our dining experience and made us feel welcome. To complement our meal, we decided to try the Margaritas, and we were not disappointed. They were truly refreshing and added a touch of indulgence to our dining experience. Overall, this Mexican restaurant offered a great location, delicious fresh food, and a dog-friendly atmosphere. The staff's attention to detail and the provision of treats and water for our dog were greatly appreciated. If you're in search of a delightful dining experience with fantastic Margaritas, this restaurant is worth a visit.”

“We stopped in for a late lunch. The atmosphere here and service are without question 5 Stars. For ordering we opted to split a pizza because we thought the menu was a little pricey, it was $17. Probably would be great for a special occasion but we weren't looking to over spend that day. Having said that the pizza was pretty good but I think when you charge more people expect more so that was a bit of a tough sell. The presentation was great but the crust was a bit doughy, pepperoni was flavorful. We might go back for a special occasion.”

“We drove almost 2 hours just to try this place, and we couldn't be happier! Absolutely delicious!! Great menu options, portions are a good size, prices are moderate, very clean establishment & staff was super friendly. I would 100% make the trip again! Plenty of parking on and around square. We visited right after lunch rush, so no huge wait time. Highly recommended.”

“Discovering Tangleberries was like a comforting hug. The decor, the aroma and the barista let me know I made the right choice. It's the best coffee shop I have visited in a long time. Didn't feel over or underwhelmed by any of it. I routinely travel all over Iowa and challenged to find coffee I enjoy enough to bring me back. Tangleberries definitely won.”

“My favorite part about my experience with CD's is how kind he and his wife were. My family and I were in the middle of moving cross-country when we received tragic and they were willing to not only give us last-minute accommodations, but they were unbelievably sweet and generous. I grew up outside of the area, and being up to receive that hospitality and love that I grew up knowing was exactly what I needed in such a dark and tumultuous time. If for any reason we find ourselves back out that way and in need of a place to stay, I would not hesitate to get a room at CD's again. The rooms are spacious, clean, and private, and anything we could ever need was provided for us. They're also dog-friendly, which was icing on the cake.”

“Went there with my wife today and we left stuffed and happy! Ice cream was delicious, thin crust pizza had good mix of cheese and sauce with a perfect crunch. Bathrooms were clean, nice decor and friendly staff. Was night and day better than our resort meal and 3x less expensive. We might even stop back for dinner to try some other goodies????”

“The grill has been open for a few years but this was the first time I have stopped to eat. There is often a good mum of vehicles in the parking lot especially at lunch time. I have had lots of friends tell me that the food was great and plentiful. I finally decided to stop and have a non fast food breakfast and find out if the recommendations I've been given were on the up and up. Short answer is yes. A great place. I had a full order of the hash brown stack. Hash browns, bacon, sausage, ham and some veggies covered in sausage gravy!!!! A hint of sweet that the owner/cook (chef?) said is due to the kind of bacon. Lol, next time I'm having just bacon to see if she was funning with me. It really was delicious. It was possible to pick out the various meat and veggie flavors which I think is somewhat unusual. Normally two or three flavors stand out in this kind of meal. The coffee was very good. Way better than convenience store coffee. The only real problem I had with the meal was the fact that I was still full at lunch time! Prices are reasonable and I completely enjoyed the food. Definitely will be there again! Wish I hadn't waited so long to go for the first time.”

“This place is a Centerville institution. The steaks, grilled chicken and the like are very good. The grilled chicken is a great light option, with a very tasty marinade and cooked perfectly. The fried chicken is also well done, with a crispy skin and juicy on the inside while still being very hot. The pizza is honestly not my favorite. The sauce is a bit bland and the crust seems undercooked the several times I've had it, but I have relatives that really like that style, so are big fans. They certainly don't skimp on the toppings! As far as price, they are very reasonable with lots of options. When I have friends or relatives come in from big cities, they are shocked at the low prices on the steaks. They also come with sides, usually a potato, a salad and bread. A decent-to-good selection of beer, wine and other drinks, again at very reasonable prices.”
