“A really good deli in Mason City, IA! The sandwiches are great...the sides are not as good, but still good...and really small. Today I tried the Cuban, which was good, but not an authentic Cuban like you would expect if you have eaten Cubans in Florida/Miami, etc. Still, a really good take on the sandwich and I would definitely order it again! The staff is very friendly and the service is super fast! For a great deli sandwich, this is the place to check out in Mason City!”

“No brainer for some delicious Mexican food + grilled food/burgers. We got the beef tips chimichanga lunch special 9.99 (excellent!!) & chicken nachos (good). Their complementary nacho and salsa is delicious (very mild salsa for those who don’t like the spice). Perfect virgin piña colada. Very friendly and warm service. Slightly slow/busy servers. Generous portions, very decent price. Very spacious, rustic feel.”

“We were seated on the patio with amazing weather, they have a special server just for outdoor, she was wonderful! We shared the cheese curds, and shared a bottle of wine with a friend which was very reasonable ($25 and they have several options and price ranges). I got the River City Green Salad and added grilled chicken, it was so delicious! Homemade dressing and croutons, juicy chicken and local greens. My friends got the Pork Medallions, which they said were the best they’ve had, the burger and the Linguini Scampi - all had great things to say. A great meal, we’ll be back! Visited again in September and had a lovely dining experience. Great drink and wine selection, the menu is small and unique. They brought out some homemade bread and lovely honey butter to start. Truffle fries were crispy and delicious. I got scallops and they were good, the risotto was even better. We went for our anniversary and received a free dessert- the highlight of our meal for me! My husband got the ribeye and said it was good, veggies were delicious, mashed potatoes were ok. Service was awesome!”

“Listen up... if you plan on eating here, you better invite me because this was the best pizza I've had pretty much EVER. These pizzas and slices are HUGE. Two slices and I was spent. And it heats up really well so I know what's for tomorrow's lunch! The staff here is uber courteous and not afraid to be personable so be friendly. What a find! “Good food, good service I had to move table because I had a group of people next to me and one guy in particular kept dropping F bombs in every sentence that he said, and he said it loud enough that my family could hear him so I moved to the other side of the restaurant and the staff there were very nice about it. This was a grown man who obviously I feel sorry for because he’s not smart enough to understand that when you’re in a restaurant in the middle of the day with family with children around that you don’t swear I hope this guy can get some serious help for himself.”

“Mason City had needed an Italian restaurant for so long, so I was pretty excited to go. I thought even if it wasn't the best, who cares, but it was the best!! I'm an amazing cook, so it's hard to impress me. I'm so impressed. I would eat here every weekend if I could afford it. (Unfortunately I'm sorry single mom of 5, so I can't) there's usually a short walk for a seat, but it's definitely worth the wait! The wait staff are super helpful and friendly. “Went to pick up a mobile order for my family on the way home. It wasn't on my account so I didn't know what was ordered. They didn't have my mom's drink so I got her a different one at the window. While one of the girls was making it the other three were talking right by the window for roughly 2 minutes. I was handed my drinks and told to "have a nice day". When I got home it was brought to my attention that we had also ordered food. When I tried to call the store to ask for a refund the number listed on the app and on Google was disconnected. So, I drove back across town to the store again. I talked to a very nice girl there who was either going to remake my food or refund me. The girl that had originally helped me in the drive thru had an attitude towards the other girl about the situation (which was her mistake) behind the counter. Then she brought my food out and said "sorry I didn't know you had food earlier." I didn't know either, but that's not my job to check the labels. The only reason this is getting 3 stars is because the girl who fixed the mistake was very nice and extremely professional about the situation.”

“The Susie Q’s cheeseburgers put the CHEESE back in CHEESEburger! Both kinds of cheese, white AND yellow, covered my burger in marbled bliss. Some had even caramelized on the griddle, providing a crunchy smooth addition to the tasty textures. I instantly detected a uniquely seasoned beef patty upon my first chomp, and I finished my meal most, a most satisfied customer. “Food is normal, like every other McDonalds restaurant you'll be in. However, this particular one has a play place. Not that unusual. Been to this restaurant many many times for our own children. This may be more of a rant to the other foolish parents that are there. I watch my own kids playing, I don't have time, nor should I have to politely ask other children not to do something I'd rather my own children not mimic. These other kids holler, scream, yell, and hit other children. Most people would say well, that's just kids being kids. To a point, I understand that, but I'm not talking about a little noise. I'm talking a limb chopped off blood curdling scream. Rather than go get the child and address the problem, the parents want to scream or holler at the kids from where they're sitting. Come on! Really? I wish an employee would be around more often when it's busy to address some of these issues. It seems to be taken with a little more patience from a parent when it comes from the place of business than a complete stranger.”
