“When I first started going there, the service was great. The owner & her mother were very friendly. The last several times the owner hardly acknowledges us but the mother is always friendly. The food is great most of the time. When the owners daughter is there & supposed to be working, she is usually on her computer or her phone. There was a friendly young man that served us a few times. “I was thrilled to "rediscover" Lemon Grass in Adel. Though it is more difficult to dine at Lemon Grass with the Monday-Friday hours (closed on weekends), the challenge makes the reward even better. Lemon Grass offers the best Thai I've found locally, particularly the panang and the fresh spring rolls. And the service is unbeatable. It's worth the drive away from the city to enjoy the flavors and the ambiance of this little gem.”

“We traveled from Des Moines to Dexter to eat here and it was definitely worth the trip! I had the ribeye deburgo the steak and the sauce were delicious and cooked to perfection. My husband had the ultimate cheeseburger (they grind their own meat from steak trimming) it was huge and so good! I would recommend eating here. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because the women's restroom door is broken. It had a sign that said to use at your own caution or use the men's restroom. I opened the men's restroom door and a male patron was using it and didn't lock the door...a bit embarrassing. The staff are not wearing masks, so something to be aware of if you prefer places that are at this time.”
