“Went on a weekday early evening, and the place was almost all to ourselves. Staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our entire visit. We enjoyed dinner, drinks, and the infamous putt putt. Drinks are playful with light up cubes. The food sounds amazing but is subpar. Nice for a quick bite before putting or bowling, but the flavor was lacking. We got the chicken wings... which were on steroids. GIGANTIC! Which is not a bad thing, but I got it with the dry rub, and I was missing out on more flavor. My partner got the sliders, and they were your standard sliders... the pulled pork was the most flavorful. Although the food was not my favorite, I would still return just because the staff were so friendly and helpful. We never tried the mini bowling. But looked fun!. Great spot for all types of events.”

“Started with the beet salad, fresh and as expected. Pork shank was amazing in a light miso sauce, not overpowering. Shrimps were well stuffed, but shrimp had no shrimp flavor to speak of. Potato side dish was hot and comforting. Cauliflower bake was very flavorful. They do allow corkage and its $16 which seems high, but a better choice as the wine selections were almost non-existent. Atmosphere is typical retro supper club/bar style. Casual dress. Servers and manager Daniel were great!”

“My family and I have been going to this Starbucks since it opened and let me tell you, Cam makes this our only location we go to. Cam is the best!! We look forward to their positive attitude and small little talk through the drive thru! Mind you the rest of the staff is amazing also. Best Starbucks in the Metro! Thanks for being our coffee connoisseurs and making our day when we come through! They all deserve a raise!”

“What Dak has a cozy feel when you walk in. Staffs were friendly and greeted us. We ordered at the register and it was quite easy. Korean taco was good, but it wasn’t my flavor. The octopus balls were good and had a creamy texture. Fried chicken wings were nice and crispy. I preferred the hot wings over the garlic soy, but both were amazing. Japchae was decently good. Give this place a try if you haven’t.”

“We were greeted the moment we walked in, salsa and homemade chips were brought out right when we sat down. We were blown away by the main course. Service was extremely kind and attentive. Best chimichangas I have ever had! $45 for two sodas, queso, two entrees and a piece of tres leches cake. We will definitely be back!”

“My wife and I came to celebrate a very special occasion. We ordered an appetizer, and I got wine. My wife got a filet, soup, and a side. I ordered Sea Bass and a side. All the food was great with one exception...my wife's steak. She ordered it medium, and it came well done. The plates come out at 500 degrees so it only got more done and tough as it sat on the plate. She ate about half of it. For a meal that cost 200+, this type of thing shouldn't happen.”

“Excited to see them open another location in the metro in West Des Moines. Beautiful, clean restaurant inside, with plenty of parking outside. All staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Love that they partner with numerous local businesses to provide quality food and drinks. Even artwork and furniture that's sourced locally! Prices are super reasonable in proportion to what you receive. Everything was delicious, no complaints! We enjoyed the coffee cake, biscuits and gravy meal, and the Gimme the meats omelet meal. They even leave a water bottle and the coffee pot at the table! No need to hunt down the wait staff for refills.”

“Favorite salad: Wild Child (pictured in this review) A favorite for sure! I love eating at Crisp and Green and trying the different bowls, salads and drinks. The restaurant has a great aesthetic and is always clean. You get to see when they’re making your food and the process is fairly quick. Service is fine. If staff were a bit more passionate and joyful they’d take this place to a different experience level.”

“Zero complaints about food and service. My wife had the Nashville shrimp Po-boy which she really enjoyed and I had the Pastrami sandwich and it was delicious. Our daughter got the kid’s Mac and cheese. It was real Mac and cheese (not Kraft like other restaurants do these days) and was tasty. Portions were perfect; nobody left hungry or carrying out half their meal in a box. Zero complaints about our waitress. Never waited for anything and she was very courteous. The establishment left a little to be desired. The overhead doors in the wall behind our booth must be great to open up during warm weather, but it was cold outside and the drafts blowing through had us wearing our coats while we ate. Also, menus were dirty and sticky. Always wonder how well everything else is cleaned if the menus can’t get a quick wipe after each customer handles them.”

“We went on a Tuesday around 5pm, which ended up being a good time for families with children. The staff was fantastic, Lily and Alecia greeted us and helped us find our party. Hannah was our server and was very friendly and attentive. Bobby came out and checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Our food was really good, and not a very long wait. My husband and daughter had a blast in the arcade. They really liked the VR King Kong game. My daughter left her coat in the restaurant and they came and found us to make sure we got it. Our family would recommend going, and we will definitely be back! (Plus, the bathrooms were incredibly clean as was the entire facility, which is important to me!)”
