“The service was exceptional and the food always comes out hot. My favorite dish is the triple delight. It has shrimp, beef, chicken and vegetables served with white rice. The popular dish I get is sweet and sour chicken. For starters we got their sweet and sour soup and fried egg rolls.”

“Their breakfast burritos are incredible, very fast, they have a drive through window so it's perfect in the morning. Their habanero salsa is very good and perfect amount of spice. The entire menu looks fantastic too, looking forward to trying the rest of it.”

“I’m in town visiting my friend and we decided to check out this new restaurant. By far the best tacos I’ve ever had and I never thought that would’ve happened in Iowa… That pineapple pico was *chefs kiss* and I had the mango habernero sauce on it which added delicious heat. They also have a giant connect four game you can play which was a lot of fun! Great service, fun atmosphere, and great tacos!”

“I'm so glad I was introduced to this place! I love the Latin x American breakfast fusion. These aren't just Latin American breakfast dishes, they're American breakfast concepts with a Latin twist. The coffee was SO, SO GOOD! And the food was phenomenal! The design of the place is also very shabby chic. Lots of photo opportunities here! Service was on point and they let me know when they were out of something I was thinking of getting. Plenty of seating for a small place, though you might sit next to some strangers. Great opportunity to make new friends! 😉”

“I haven’t been since I was a kid, and I’ve been spoiled with great donuts in Chicago. So I was worried about coming back and that these would taste like a Dunkin Donut, which is not good. But, I was blown away by how good these donuts still are!! The Cherry and blueberry are my favorite. I was so happy, I went back the next day!”

“My wife and I had a great experience! The chef did an awesome job! Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The scrambled eggs were seasoned with something I’m not sure what but it was so good. The sausage Pattie’s were meaty and cooked just right. The pancakes were crisp on the edges and fluffy. Looks like they roast and grind their own coffee. I had the freshly squires orange juice from the machine. Best breakfast in a while. Service was friendly. They were very busy, two larger parties in the side room and people were coming in when we left. Expect a wait to be seated but it’s worth it!”

“Around $12 for a Turkey sandwich combo , limited bread options when I went there. The sandwich itself is better than most as it tastes fresher. Employees could be a bit more polite, as a newer place, it would make sense to greet your customers and not look mad for someone standing at the counter asking where their soda is. Otherwise , not too bad”

“Pizza is okay, not the Godfather's pizza of the old days that we were hoping for. Guy working the counter was super helpful, they ran out of desert pizza toppings, and substituted with cheesy bread. Located in Big Ten Mart in Hiawatha.”

“I really like their salsa! Good food and nice restaurant. They just opened up and the staff is still learning but we had a good experience. I will be back to see how they do for lunch.”

“I absolutely love this place! Every time I go to Des Moines, I stop to get an açaí bowl. So excited to have this gem close to home. The first time I went (sunshine I believe was her name) was so helpful and sweet. It’s made right in front of you and is so yummy. Plus if you aren’t sure if you’ll like it, you get to try a free small Everbowl with the app. Needless to say, I have been back multiple times and every stop has been wonderful.”

“Very classy but limited seating. The sever was very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was unbelievable! Only thing to know is that your entrees are priced separately from your sides. Very expensive but well worth the money!!”

“This place was amazing. This place was clean and staff was super attentive without being creepy. The food was great we had appetizers and pizza. The taco pizza was TDF to die for. The ambience in the place was cozy and friendly. Cannot wait for the patio to open.”

“Fabulous hole-in-the-wall place. Family owned. Visited in November. Back in February, and it's on our to-do list of places to visit again for lunch. The food was perfect. The drinks were spectacular! If you like visiting coffee shops, you have to come here.”

“Probably the best Caesar salad I have EVER had! The homemade croutons are the best in town. Our server, Stacy, couldn't have been better. Always have a great experience and HIGHLY recommend!”

“Good experience for us on a Thursday night just after the dinner rush. We chose this place because it was close to our hotel. I went with Sheet Nachos (with steak), my wife had the Grilled Cheese, and my son had the jumbo Hot Dog. I had the Easy Eddy IPA, which was very good on tap. Our food came out in a timely manner and was fresh, hot, and exactly as ordered. On the nachos I got steak, and the type of steak is the same used for a Philly cheese steak. The fries were really really good too! For dessert my son got the Cookie Dough Birthday Cake...super good as well but super rich. Overall service was good. Tano was our server and he was super helpful with the menu and made some good recommendations. There is something to be said about doing the routine things routinely, so I really appreciated that! I would recommend this place for good bar food, tvs, drinks, and atmosphere. If we are in town again, we will likely stop by!”

“The food was delicious! The cheese was mainly mozzarella- but the flavors were very San Antonio to me. My daughter’s burrito was HUGE! The guac was tangy and fresh. I can’t wait to visit again! E dined in- a quick stop between shopping stops.”

“The food was fresh but we had hardly any sauce on our spicy chicken sandwiches. The layout is also very weird for the drive through so we ate inside. The inside is very clean. Some employees were quite attentive and kind, but others seemed to be a bit rude to other customers. It is McDonalds though so they did pretty well compared to other McDonald's we've been to.”

“Date night on Friday 2-3-2023 and the food and the wait was outstanding. Service was great. All around a great place. If you haven’t been yet, you need to go. Jeff and crew do an awesome job.”

“This place was hopping tonight! I didn't even know they had opened until I drove by and saw the packed parking lot. I'd been waiting for it to open and decided to check it out. I was going to eat in the regular dining area but there was 1 1/2 hour wait so I decided to eat at the bar. It did take a while for them to get to me but that's understandable, due to the fact they just opened and were super busy because of that. The bartender Patrick, was awesome. He's getting a good tip. He made sure I got what I needed and had a great sense of humor. I ordered the chicken bites with Korean BBQ sauce. They were delicious. They were $11.99 which is quite reasonable as you can see there was plenty for another meal. Everyone complaining pricing, I don't understand. The tater tots were supposed to have sour cream and onion flavor but I couldn't taste that at all. But, they were nice and crispy and still tasted good. There is an Elite room for bowling but I don't know the details. This is a super fun place. I'll come back again when I have time to play.”

“Went to Up In Smoke on a Saturday afternoon, not busy inside. I ordered brisket nachos ($10) and my girlfriend ordered a roasted chicken hindquarter ($7) and mac and cheese ($3). The nachos I've received were enormous and beautiful, with generous brisket, house made pickled jalapeños, house made sour cream, and house made chips. My meal was delicious, and would recommend to anyone. My girlfriend's chicken was smoked to perfection, with a semi-sweet skin, and the inside perfectly moist. The serving was generous for her also, and the mac and cheese paired well with it. We ordered cornbread ($3) on our way out, which proved to be as delicious the next day as it was fresh. All in all, I would recommend this place to anyone, the prices are superb, the food excellent, and the service wonderful.”

“Pizza was some of the best in town. Garlic bread was great. Service was attentive, hardworking, and really nice. Gave great opinions and were honest. Interior / environment were less than impressive and the outdoor patio was a bit of a concrete jungle. But we will definitely be back, we loved the pizza a lot. Highly recommend. Ask for the red sauce to be warm when you get garlic bread , that’ll help too!”
