    Amazing food. It's expensive but it doesn't advertise as cheap. Very good and worth the money on a very special occasion.

    My Wife and I always come here for our special occasions. Service is always superb. Their drink and wine selections never disappoint. 801 is definitely one of the most expensive places in all of Des Moines but when you want a perfectly cooked premium steak while celebrating a special occasion, there isn't a better place to satisfy your indulgences.

    Wonderful place to take that special person in your life. Great place for any occasion. Service was nothing short of spectacular. The food was absolutely delicious. This place is Top Choice..

    Went there for my husband and my 5 year wedding anniversary. They decorated the table with heart shaped confetti and even gave us a card for our anniversary. Our waiter was amazing, very attentive and kind. To drink I ordered the summer champagne and it was delicious, very easy to drink and not too sweet. For food, I ordered the prime rib single cut with the cognac butter with mushrooms. The meat was very tender and the sauce was a very good pair with the meat. My husband ordered the porterhouse with the same sauce. He said that it was very good. We will definately be back!
