Great presentation of food. Great services. Everything was well organised. staff were polite. Food menu was good.

Stead was very friendly and accommodating. Food reminded me of my trip to England and was really good. Would definitely go back to try the other traditional dishes.

This place has unique food you don't find at a lot of other restaurants in Des Moines. It is made well and is all quite filling. Not as much bar food as a hearty meal, but their food and lagers pair well. This place has been around a long time for a reason! Authentic food, generally stays pretty busy and amazing selection of beers/ciders/etc!

Stopped in while we waited for Roka to open. Excellent bartenders, willing to make whatever you like without side commentary. Lots of locals here; good conversation. Plate envy made us order the fries, which were amazing. My new favorite place close to the Wells Fargo arena. Also, we ate all the fries, which is why the picture is of an empty plate. We enjoyed our dinner at this casual British Pub. We had the lamb shank and the Earl sandwich, both were very good!
