And excellent desserts too! We've often enjoyed happy hour and the excellent appetizers but tried some desserts last night. The chocolate raspberry cheesecake was rich & wonderful. The apple crisp was delicious and made for sharing. We keep finding more reasons to come back! Definitely check out the Mug Club!

Went here because I was given a gift card. I was expecting to try the food. The staff was very friendly and efficient at cleaning tables. The restaurant was dark with an old aesthetic. Odd decor and a lot of TVs. The food was very expensive but listed on their website. It was high quality ingredients with good portions. They ask for reservations to eat.

This is both the quietest and highest quality bar/restaurant on the road. If you're looking for a good place to hangout, but aren't a fan of the loud college bar scene like the rest of the road is on weekend nights, then come here. The servers are phenomenal. Every friend I've introduced to this place on a late(ish) night ended up being one of their favorite places because it wasn't loud, and the servers were delightful. They are a brewery with their own beer selection, but this is a plus. Two of their beers belong in my top three favorite Iowa Crafts: Their Peanut Butter Porter and Pointer Brown Ale, along with Exile' Ruthie. If you like dark beers, this is your place. It's difficult for me to try any new beers there because of how good those two are. They do have great food, but maybe not quite up my alley. I will say that their fries are on a different level of ridiculously good. I typically like food with some kick and spice to it, perhaps with some variety other than just wings (burgers?). As far as I could tell, they don't really have a spice and kick selection on their food menu. Regardless, this is my favorite place to be at in Des Moines currently.

What an amazing place. The food was excellent and came out in a fast fashion. The seating was spacious and comfy. Many in house brewed options to chose from. With a brewery and cold storage on site the alcohol is top notch quality. Definitely a good place to go to!

Steak was tough, food was not hot.
