Pepp's Pizzeria

We tried Pepp’s for the first time and it was one of the best pizzas we’ve had in a long time! It was our first time trying upside down pizzas, meaning the sauce goes on top of the cheese, but it did not disappoint. We got the Vodka Roni and added ricotta, hot sausage and banana peppers and we would 10/10 recommend. The pizzas are huge so you won’t go hungry and the crust is perfect. It’s on the thinner side which I love, but it was almost buttery/fluffy. We also got the garlic sticks with creamy parmesan sauce and definitely recommend those as well. Make sure to try them next time you are craving a good pizza!!!

Had the pizza special today. Absolutely delicious. The crust is phenomenal. The added instructions on how to reheat the pizza is a great touch. Clean store. And yes pineapple can be on pizza!

Great new addition to Grimes with a unique pizza style made from scratch. Upside-down pizza, so it's assembled crust, cheese, sauce, and then toppings. They slice their own cheese, make their own sauces, and hand toss the dough. Sauce and toppings are flavorful. Crust is homemade daily and has a nice chewy texture.
Slices are offered during lunch hours as well as full pizzas for lunch and supper.
They have the ordering system down to provide a quality product every time. Orders for full pizzas can only be placed online for a specific pick-up time, and they only sell so many a day.
All staff from the owner, to the cooks, to the cashier are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do.

The pizza is awesome and very unique. The crust is as good as I've had anywhere in Des Moines, the toppings were generous, and the staff super friendly.

I had a great experience at Pepp's today and I can't wait to get it again! The food was still fresh and hot when we got home. We got a Sausage pizza and a White sauce pizza. The crust was great and the sauce/ingredients were perfect. The white sauce pizza was a nice combo that I had never had before.
