We stumbled across this St. Kilda’s location today (it just opened in June!) and are so happy we did! Wonderful friendly service, delicious hot chocolate, and a fun, trendy, minimalistic atmosphere. We will definitely be back to try out other items on the menu.

After five visits, I am impressed. The menu changes and offers some really great flavors. Breakfast is outstanding - any of their breads or pastry items are top notch and push dishes they're incorporated into over the top (biscuits & gravy, biscuit sandwich, hamburger). Chicken and waffles were so unique and tasty. The flavors across the board are on point and the portion size is perfect, albeit maybe a bit small for Midwestern standards. International guests loved it enough to go back twice during one visit to Iowa - they were astonished. Great coffee and beer choices as well. Cannot recommend enough, provided you aren't annoyed by the trendy girls-in-obnoxious-hats vibe.

Interesting menu with a variety of options that make it difficult to choose, but could please any taste. The selections a couple of us made were a little on the spicy side. I loved my chili scramble, but I was told that my friend's quiche won breakfast. Interesting atmosphere; a former car dealership renovated with a clean, modern style.

Nice, roomy dining area with a full bar and open kitchen. Servers were attentive and ready to help even when you didn't need anything (awesome). Started with a pastry and espresso, both were delicious. Wife ordered the avocado toast w/poached egg on top, I ordered steak and eggs and we were off to the races...or so we thought. After right around 20 minutes from ordering entrees, the waitress came back and asked what we had ordered again. Said she wanted to make sure she got the order right, we then watched her go place out order in the computer. After waiting another 15 min I stopped her and asked about our meal, a few minutes later it arrived and looked beautiful. Unfortunately everything was cold as if they had been sitting for a good 10 min...so sad. Fortunately a nice gentleman who I assume is the manager noticed my situation and handled a new entree personally. What came out was exactly what my tastebuds were hoping for. Poached eggs=perfect, steak=med-rare (perfect), good portions, left full so it all worked out.

Wind up is....good food, just hope the mistakes that happened today aren't common. Shout out to the man that helped us. CHEERS!

We will stop back another time to see if you can work it up to 5 starts

St. Kilda Collective is wonderful. The service is delightful, friendly, punctual, and unobtrusive. The food is delicious with beautiful presentation. The decor is very clean and sterile, reminding much of a late 70's school lunch room. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of that sterile feeling. Something about the lack of character seems uninviting and insincere. Despite this I will return for more delicious food and hope that it develops a resonance of its own. Enjoy!
