“A step up from the average hotel. The location was perfect for what we needed. Prices are reasonable, taxes high, and most everything is a la carte, but the room was big, clean and very out of the ordinary. Well designed and we'll appointed. Employees were kind and helpful. They will add a $50 misc charge to check in for the items you might charge to the room but they take it off as soon as you leave. There are a number of places to eat adjacent to the hotel and the sports complex is across the street if your interested in bowling etc. If I travel to the area again I will likely stay there. I would recommend it to those who are not looking for the cheapest place to stay but a more comfortable place to stay....”

But just as import now, it felt very safe. We sat outside on their patio. The tables were distanced, and the staff was masked. The staff was also very good about distancing. We’ll be back. “When I heard that Steel Plow was setting up a restaurant in Davenport, IA I was excited. I had been to the Moline, IL location and it was real good food. The burgers they have are very creative and have combinations you really don't think of. Probably the best part of the meal is the various milkshakes they have. Each milkshake has a particular theme to it and everything but the kitchen sink added to it. It's large enough to share it at least two or three people. Overall if you are looking for a laid back spot to eat, you can't go wrong here.”

“Fresh Blends, Davenport, is a fabulous stop for a delicious smoothie or shake. My first stop to Fresh Blends was an introduction to Peachy, a fabulously flavored smoothie. My next stop, I was introduced to Java Jolt. It's flavor and texture was beyond anything I'd ever experienced! It had espresso beans and added protein. Java Jolt, on that visit, was truly my favorite! As I visited more, the staff made recommendations for new options. Each time, the shake was delightful that I was served. My last visit introduced me to Home Run with cold brew and espresso beans. I can hardly wait for my next trip to the QC area so that I can visit Fresh Blends Davenport and have a new favorite.”

I personally found an excellent balance in the taste combinations of their sandwiches and look forward to trying some more. McAlister's Deli draw back is the price. About $40 for two meals and Nachos(which by the way was very tasty). I recommend a try and hope to eat there myself soon”
