“A very nice Kwik Star. This location is large, with a ton of food and grocery selections. There's a small seating counter for eating. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming. The car wash is a great option to have in the area. The parking area is large and easily navigable, even with a large area for larger vehicles.”

“Everything from start to finish that evening was perfect, from friendly staff, great food, and a great atmosphere. The steak I ordered was cooked perfectly, but the real winner were the kabobs we ordered for an appetizer, which I was told was the owners own family recipe. Drinks were strong and the timing on the food was good, and the desserts we ordered were incredible. This was probably one of the best dinners I've had in Decorah, which is a feat because the town is host to some top notch restaurants.”

“I really like going here & it's perfect for when you just get off the river starving. The food is always amazing & reasonably priced. The mixed drinks are made right & taste great. My favorite menu item is the 139 chicken sandwich, add mushrooms & onions. Their white cheese curds are also great, when they are able to get them in. I also like how small & cozy it is, how they decorate for the holidays & I absolutely love watching the humming bird feeders out the window. The only down part is the staff sometimes, I've had some really rude staff, Ive had some really awesome staff, and Ive had some staff that they seem dazed to be there with no idea whats going on.”

Who knew that I just needed to travel to Iowa for great pizza. The regular pizza that the rest of my family looked magnificent too. Staff was wonderful too! Great experience!”

The exterior and location almost turned us away but we would have missed a great meal! Judging the dinner guests, I would guess it's well patronized by the locals who know good food.
