“The name is highly misleading. "Aloha", you would assume it is some form of Hawaiian. Maybe Chinatown in Hawaii. It was disappointing to see no Hawaiian favorites (mac salad, musubi) Their food tasted a lot like a buffet. Chicken (asian side) was the same, just with different sauces on top. You receive a small side of veggies and either macaroni salad or coleslaw. They advertise a "bowl" of macaroni salad, but its a small sample cup. I didn't try the crunch chicken side of the menu, so I may go back, but I would keep my expectations low.”

“Fantastic food, amazing service, and a great location. Hays really needed a spot with traditional, well made, Latin and Mexican foods. We had the soup of the week which was pleasantly spicy with a perfect mix of ingredients. The Pupusa was great as well, the corn patties were fresh and the perfect thickness. Higher quality ingredients really do make a difference! Check this place out if you get the chance - you won't be disappointed!”

“Driving through Hays on our way home to Colorado and needed a sit-down meal outside the car. El Dos was a pleasant surprise right off I-70. Service was friendly and efficient, we got our food quickly, and everything was fresh and delicious. The $3.99 Grand Marnier Margarita was very good, too! (The driver did not get to try it, of course). Highly recommend and would definitely stop there again.”

“This is a great Freddy’s location. I had a craving for ice cream and arrived a few minutes before closing. I was in the mood for an ice cream sundae with a brownie and the server quickly accommodated my request before they closed. The brownie sundae was delicious and definitely cured my craving. This location has great customer service and ice cream. I highly recommend this Freddy’s location.”

The rolls, soup, and salad were a solid start to the meal. The entrees were filling and had good flavor but did not stand out in any way. That said, each entree was only about $14 so I really am not sure where you can eat this much above average food at that price.”

“Your typical Qdoba but with great staff. The manager appeared to be a great leader, directing his team but treating them with respect. The manager and other staff interacted well with the customers, making it a fun and welcoming atmosphere. When one guest's child became fussy in line, the manager quickly asked if they could get them their kids meal drink before they ordered. The family looked relieved and the child immediately calmed down with milk in hand. That one simple act made the experience better for the child, their family, and all the guests who didn't have to listen to a fussy little one.”

“Brisket was delicious well marbled, butter knife tender, good pink smoke line, juicy goodness served on a toasty Texas toast. Try all the amazing sauces! Full flavor, great tang, each with unique spice profile and the revenge added plenty of heat without masking the flavor. Chipotle lime was my fav Hearty sides like sweet potato soufflé and mashed redskin potatoes with white gravy hit the spot. Slaw was fine chopped cream based refreshing and light to compliment the meat. Check out this more than a steakhouse!”

“This group in here is everything!!!!! We have been traveling a lot and good coffee is hard to come by even at Starbucks. The staff here are friendly, cheerful, and hilarious! On top of all of that they made the best coffee I have had in 3 days ( by the way we were throwing away our undrinkable drinks from a previous Starbucks) they also did not charge us which we had every intention on paying app out ready to scan. “Honestly by far this is the best Mexican restaurant in Hays Kansas!! They are so reasonably priced, the food portions are very filling, and the food was so good and flavorful! Went there on my birthday which was the opening day and I loved it so much that I had to come back today!! I definitely will continue to be coming back at least a few times a month! If you want fresh, fast, wonderfully amazing, very flavorful Mexican food I recommend that you eat here! If I could give more than five stars I would! Honestly this is the best Mexican food I have ever eaten in this town hands down! I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone that I know!🙂”

“Lot's of places to eat in Hayes, we like Mexican, so we went to Gutierrez Mexican Restaurant. It was getting near closing on a Thursday night, but we got seated right away and they took our orders. Lots of atmosphere, but a bit dark. That 32 oz lime Margarita was so good. We got served after a bit. My wife order the Chicken quesadilla and I ordered the Sancho Grande. The Sancho Grande seemed to be a seasoned beef filled burrito smothered with red chile w/beef. Yes! PINTOS beans. Who likes black beans. The beef chile was almost hot enough, but very well seasoned and flavorful.”
