Krispy Kreme

Super fast service depends on the day but still fast super friendly and allways happy I like that

This Krispy Kreme is not as Krispy or Kremey as it could of been. My husband and I went there and were craving some creme filled donuts and when we pulled up, it looked like it was closed and the parking lot looked sketchy. We went inside and weren't offered any complimentary donuts but when we asked to taste one, the employee handed us a couple of donut holes that tasted like they been sitting out for awhile. The selection seemed limited and wasn't very appealing. The store was not lit up well and was small and cold inside compared to the Krispy Kreme we went to in Wichita, KS a month before. We ordered a dozen creme filled Bavarian donuts and more than half of them hardly had any creme in them but they were still tasty. Then when I was trying to order two customers behind us were trying to rush us to order so the whole experience of being up there in Johnson County wasn't as nice as it was in Wichita. Johnson County is beautiful and nice but some people must be drinking rude bottled water there or something. Otherwise this Krispy Creme wasn't nothing like the warm inviting one in Wichita but nevertheless it still is a Krispy Kreme and I love there donuts so when we go back there we'll just Google a different one. Bet your mustache.

The donuts always look fresh and smell good. It’s the service that lacks. I remember when this location first opened back in the late 90’s. The service was a 1,000 times better back then. Definitely not one of my favorites anymore.

We visit Krispy Kreme on occasion when we visit KC. The best time to visit is when the hot donut sign is on. They do give free samples too. They have the donut making area open to view for the kids and curious adults. The new cream fill doughnut is delicious. I recommend a visit to Krispy Kreme if you have never been.

You can never really go wrong with donuts (if you eat them). The location inside is nice, but the parking lot is a war zone. You're almost better off parking nearby and walking to it in order to avoid blowing out a tire due to the amount of potholes.

There are a LOT of them, so this is something that has been ongoing. Even the parking spots have holes, so you have to be careful pulling in, and getting into your car.

Aside from that, the staff were [mostly] friendly. The guy greeted me when I walked in, and was very nice and helpful. He offered samples during the wait, and kept a smile. Once I made it to the checkout, the woman (middle aged Hispanic) barely spoke (it was hard to understand her because she didn't speak English well and she seemed to get frustrated with me asking her to repeat what she said), never smiled, and dropped the receipt from basically throwing it at me instead of putting it into my hand. I remained courteous to her the entire time, but she still stayed standoffish. It's disappointing to receive great customer service, and have it ruined by someone's bad attitude.

Employees should step away or take the day off if having a bad day in a front facing customer service role. Aside from that, everything else was great.
