“This is another one of those places I had passed by and never had a chance to stop in until now. I friend wanted to go out for burgers and suggested this place. Since I had not been here to eat before, I was game. They have a limited menu (burgers and some sandwiches) fries, soda drinks, and ice cream cone or concrete for dessert. One orders up at the counter. If you are sitting outside, there is a window and they will call you to pick up your meal. You still have to order your food from the inside. Otherwise it is limited seating, with 50s style decor on the inside. Service was quick, and the burgers are homemade, not pre-frozen panel. Both Burger and fries were good and tasty, prices are decent as well. They also had cherry lime aide, with real lime ice cream! It was such a nice night, we went back to order a twist cone for dessert.”

“We are visiting the area from out of town and discovered this GEM! From the moment we walked in, I appreciated the clean facility and friendly atmosphere. Once seated, the service was prompt and friendly! And the food....magnificent! Reasonably priced and mouth-watering. We will be coming back whenever we are in the area. “We started going to Jade Bowl because it is close to our house, but now we go there for the family who runs it and the inexpensive lunch and dinner specials. if you want good value for your food - this is it! I normally get two to three meals out of both the lunch and dinner menus. I usually don't use their coupons, but if you use coupons it is up to you to point out that you are using one. You can get free appetizers, soft drinks, etc. if you remember to use your coupon. Also, read the menu carefully, they'll turn almost anything into a lunch or dinner special.”

“Being from Chicago, I was born with the Chicago Hot Dog Lover Gene. I am very surprised that Sonic has the best Chicago Hot Dogs in the Kansas City area. I haven’t been to Sonic often but I was shocked at how good they are, AND at a very reasonable price. So when I need a Chicago Hot Dog fix, I will be heading to Sonic. SONIC IS SONIC you might think yet the staff that works this location really seem to like their jobs as they work with a genuine smile and are humming and singing while moving around the property”

“Definitely worth the drive from the inner city. There was a very long line as always this time of night at the midtown location, so I decided to drive here. The best decision I could have made. Not only was the service quick and courteous. The food was absolutely better. The sauce was a whole lot fresher and better tasting all around. “I really like Sonics menu. If you like fast food with lots of choices this is the place. Some of the best shakes and drinks for you to enjoy. Daily specials on the Web site or text to you with sign up. The only reason this Sonic doesn't get a perfect 5 star rating is because of inattentive staff. On more than 1 occasion I have ordered a large Cherry Limeade only to take my first drink and realize it's all club soda (or whatever solute used as base) totally without ANY lime nor cherry flavor. Sure, I know I should have called to complain but I didn't feel like it was worth my time. So nowadays I take my first sip as soon as I pay for it, to make sure all is well.”

Other menu items (salads, sandwiches, appetizers) are worth a try, too. Pizza is good for carryout but the best taste is straight from the oven. We had not eaten there in ages and decided that we wanted to have some of their pizza and the best salad around with their special "Pink Dressing" . Why it had been so long since out last visit is beyond me. We got the Prince size Garden Pizza with two salads. It really hit the spot after working in the yard on a very hot day. We opted for carry out and everything was ready on time and packaged very nicely.”

But I thought about it though, is that there's just such a good selection of toppings and meat and cheese selections. “I've lived about half a mile from this place for 6 years and only heard about it this week. I'm told people start lining up at the door 30 minutes prior to opening. We showed up 2 minutes after they opened and half a dozen tables were already full. It's small on the inside with a cute patio outside. Our server was super friendly and made it a fun experience; they seem to have a lot of regulars, so that says something about food and service. There was so much that looked good but went with the gorditas and wasn't disappointed. And let's talk about the margaritas....wow. So yummy. Not too sweet, definitely boozey. Will definitely be back to try more things, and to upgrade to a margarita pitcher.”

Each time we try a new item and often say that it is delicious. Check the hours before you go. Ate there early on New Year's Eve (5 PM) & had no problems getting a table. Servings were large enough to share. Had wonton noodle soup which was very good although somewhat hard to eat due to the long noodles & no knife with which to cut them. Also had rice noodles & chicken which was excellent. Will go there again to try something else.”

“Arby's is one of my go to places for fast food on a calorie budget. Get the regular roast beef or beef and cheddar with the potato cakes instead of fries for roughly 6-700 calories. I am a regular here, usually go through drive through but when I go in the restrooms are clean and the environment is too. I would rate the quickness 4/5 because the lines went very fast, the staff is also very friendly and patient with customers. Food isn’t the best Arby’s I’ve ever had, although I would recommend this over the nearby McDonald’s over the street”
