“We love their Lunch Menu! (Serves until 3pm) Came in on opening day and were welcomed by the owner. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We got our food in less than 10 minutes and it was delicious! I recommend anything with the steak, but particularly their enchilada and fajitas. Their taco shells are made in-house and are great! Of course, the free chips and salsa were a big bonus. The type of restaurant where you go to pay at the front after through eating. Kid friendly: 3/5 has high chairs, but not a changing table. Kids menu available. Accessibility ♿️: 2/5 has reserved parking spots and fairly wide entrances. The bathroom would not be easy to get into with that hallway. Most tables are wheelchair friendly.”

“Excellent food, quick and well priced. Everything tastes homemade. Unique flavor of the Himalayas. Try the butter chicken! Easy to miss building however, could use a sign on the front indicating it's a restaurant and not part of the hotel.”

“My second time returning to this motel and definitely would like to share experience. Got a room with 2 queen beds. Room looks and smells very nice, clean and quiet place. Checked in at 3:30 and was kinda hungry so I decided to give a chance to the restaurant and definitely did a right thing. Mostly it’s Indian cuisine but I was in the mood for burger and guess what it did hit the spot. Overall seems like nice family business that offers affordable prices.”

“***note****This is a different restaurant than the reviews that are before February 2021. They moved to Lincoln Kansas from their old location in Butte, Montana. They have a different menu, different location, etc. We had a bad experience the first time coming for dinner, so we gave it a couple more tries, including brunch. The timing was better, but the things that were wrong, stayed about the same. The owners (male at front desk area and amazing chef in back) and their mother, who is in most the time are kind, friendly, helpful, and remember most guests. It is a good hometown feel. They always have smiles. The other waitress is not helpful, slightly rude, and seems like she has no experience. I feel confident enough about this opinion. That I am not afraid for her to see this. Their business would do much better without an employee like that. When we were served by the owners, our drinks were filled and are plates were cleared quickly. When we were served by the other woman, we had to ask a few times for refills. And were never checked on. I had water, but husband had Coke. Prices are a little high. Cheapest is about $8 and some dishes are getting close to $20 a plate. Tables are tiny, and do not fit all the condiments and extras+the food. The portions seem small to me for the price. Specifically the nachos. Except their sandwiches. They are HUGE and there is no good way to eat it. You just have to break it up and eat with a fork. They have a signature Bean cheese dip mixture that is on most things. I think it is yummy. The green salsa is lacking in flavor, and they have no other salsa or Pico options. The silverware needed to be cleaned better. Some dishes were burnt. Like the chips and the Texas toast. The dishes look pretty, but are unrealistic for eating. The soft tacos are piled on eachother, the burgers slop all over, and the cajun chicken sandwhiches are huge and bottom is soggy. Salads were fine. Just a bag of mixed salad from the store, and you can see them filling the salad dressing cups with a great value bottle of ranch from the cooler. Food is slow to come out. It has improved since first opening of course. Appetizers and meal come out at the same time, so there is no use in ordering an appetizer. They need to make separate tickets for the chef for appetizers vs. Meals. Busquits were cut out squares like a sheet busquit, gravy was pretty good. Eggs were cooked to perfection, but had no salt/pepper, which is easy to add. Overall it was messy, pretty good flavor, but overpriced. We will probably not go again. It's about $50 with the tip and drinks each time we go for my husband and I. For that, we will go to town to a nice restaurant. Owners are great, and I tried it a few times because of that, but the negatives outweigh the positives for me personally. I've heard a lot of other people say they love it. If their prices lowered by 10-20% and they got a new waitress, we'd go back regularly. 0/5 accessibility ♿️ good parking, but there were steps and inconvenient doorway entrance. Would be near impossible with a wheelchair, very difficult for a walker, and completely impossible for a motorized wheelchair. 2/5 Baby friendly. No kind of table or changing station or anything like that in the bathroom. They do have highchairs available. *in the response to this review the owner has given understandable explanations. please note I have never ordered food to go, so I'm not sure who the owner is thinking of, but that was not us.”

“Great calzone. Best pizza in town. Service is good, expect an hour for your order to be prepared - each is hand made upon order. The facility is convivial and you won't notice the wait. A must stop for supper.”

Fly Boy Brewery & Eats

Address: 105 N Main St #8135, Sylvan Grove, KS 67481, USA

Restaurant

“Steak was fine, Salmon was fantastic. Everything else was 'eh'. Wait time and flavor for the food to come out earned them 3 stars instead of 5. They were busy though. Lots of people standing waiting in line to be seated. I think a lot of people come from out of town to go here. Waiter was fine. Had to ask for our drinks to be refilled and was only checked on once. We wanted to get the bill and leave, but it took awhile to flag him down. Probably a big reason why the wait was so long. I did like their salad, just basic, like any other restaurant. Baked potatoe was not cooked well and not flavored. Just a lot of bacon is all. I would go back for the salmon. Plan to spend $60 total for 2 people. 3/5 accessibility ♿️ bad parking situation, and steps going in. Some tables are wheelchair friendly. 4/5 Baby friendly. Highchair available, and tables are large enough to move food away from grabby hands.”

“This place is an all in one stop. You can get fresh home made food, cans of pop, cigarettes, beer, candy bars. Play a game of pool or darts. Very clean, up beat and very friendly people working running the place. Seems very family oriented. I would definitely say stop by and enjoy if you are in the area.”
