“I was just passing through today and looked up restaurants. This one popped up, and judging by the pictures I didn’t look like much but I was hungry. I was pleasantly surprised how good this place was being in small town Kansas. There wasn’t a whole lot of things to choose from. This is just my opinion but I come from a place that has a much bigger restaurant and more patrons in so there’s a lot more. This is not a knock on this place everything was good everything was hot everything seem to be fresh. The service was excellent. I would definitely stop here again next time I’m passing through.”

“This is a good clean store with very nice employees. It's one of the larger stores in this county so it's well stocked. Great produce with some good sales and a huge meat and deli area. One of the interesting things about it is that the shopping carts aren't allowed out of the store. Either you carry your items out or an employee will put them into a special cart and take them out for you. Nice! I like this store.”

“We live nearby in Downs, so the cafe in Tipton is very convenient to have a meal out. My wife & I split a chicken fried steak supper between us. A great tasting chicken fried & big enough to satisfy both of us. One of those would be more than I would wish to eat by myself. The meal came with two sides, so each of us had a baked potato. Our potatoes were done perfectly. This is a place that serves Midwestern comfort food in a small town atmosphere. The seating is a combination of booths & tables. There is a second large room with a bar area with a TV. Lastly, the prices are reasonable. Just a nice clean place to get a good meal.”
