“While visiting the Oz Museum we saw the sign below the Yellow Brick Road arch and decided to try them out. Girlfriend ordered their Breakfast Burrito which was good but just a little dry. It's a good thing she asked for sauce in advance. I had the Biscuits & Gravy which were really good. I would have preferred basic Hash Browns rather then the Country version but overall it was good. Their cookies and cakes looked amazing and our server told us about their really good Cinnamon Coffee Cake but the fella at the register said the weren't making them that day. I would refrain from offering items that aren't available.”

“They've really gone all out on the decor here. It's very colorful and intricate. The food is good and pretty fast service. It's a bit more expensive than La Hacienda next door. How the two ended up so close together is sort of odd. Overall a very satisfying meal.”

“This little gem of a place was such a good find. I spent most of the night here and had an amazing time with all the locals. It was the bartenders birthday so it was filled with such great vibes. I will Be back when I can!”

“We love their cheese dip, salsa and everything we order is delicious! The Texanas fajitas is my personal favorite.”

“fun place with good food that we visited on our anniversary. The OZ burrito they suggested was very good. The picks of the OZ movie characters that visited was a nice addition. Clean place with colorful decorations. The 3 young girls that worked there were all friendly and helpful. Told us some town history and such. We hope to make it back. Was an enjoyable part of our unplanned day out and about.”

“Hubby enjoyed his ribs. I did not enjoy my burnt ends—seemed more like a beef roast. HOWEVER”

“I had a wonderful time at Barleycorn's Downtown Deli! I went with just one other person on a Thursday night, and there were only about four tables taken. The waitress who took care of us was super kind and prompt, and seemed to be very knowledgeable about the menu. I was considering the Mafioso, but her recommendation of the brisket was extremely apt. It was delicious! The brisket was delectable, there were a perfect amount of onions on it, and the bread was soft and light. Not to mention the coffee was excellent, for only a dollar. Run, don't walk, to Barleycorn's!”

“As expected for a small town diner. The single server working was busy, but kind and attentive. The food was good. Chicken fried steak was small but tender and flavorful. Hash browns were cooked soft and not crispy. My mother got their homemade wheat bread grilled and it puts texas toast to shame. She bought a loaf to take home with her.”

“We went here for some ice cream after a tournament and one of our items didn't get very much filling/flavor that we asked for. We happened to talk to the manager when we called back in and she was polite and quick to get us a new one (she did mention they had new staff in training). Thanks for making things right. We enjoy our Sonic treats.”

“We ordered an 8 piece chicken bucket with two sides and two drinks. The price was less than $30 and we felt that was fair. The staff was very kind and friendly. The cashier said that the food was being made fresh, so it would be 15 to 20 minutes, but was over 30. It had good flavor, but nothing particularly special to convince me to return.”
