I ordered the shrimp tacos, immediately she asked how many I requested the meal, " oh well you should have said that, order it like the meal the 1st time". I asked for more sauce. " NO YOU CANT BECEAUSE WERE SHORT" when the food was picked up they had no drink holders. And was rude to other customers on the phone.”

“Food was delicious and fresh! The employees were very friendly and kind. The only things we didn't like were the egg drop soup (there was no flavor or green onions or anything in the soup) and they only offered bottled drinks. When you are eating inside of a restaurant, I feel like they should have fountain drinks and refill your glass. Our meals and service was AMAZING though. We can't wait to come back!”

“Everything at Magnolia Cafe is made from scratch daily using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible and the Pork Belly hash puts that dedication on display. Wow what a great dish! The pork belly was cooked perfectly, seasoned well, melt in your mouth tender. The sweet potatoes, peppers and onions was a perfect marriage of hash bliss, complimented by the creamed greens. The egg, also perfectly cooked, had the runny yolk you're looking for and was a delicious delight to dip in. Putting this dish over the top was that chow chow, delivering that little bit of tart crunch, balancing out the pork fat. As I like to say, "It's Another Dose of YUM!"”

Don't know why people are complaining about waiting or getting orders mixed up, IT'S THEIR OPENING DAY for Christ's sake, the staff did an awesome job in my opinion, considering that the grill was going off the Richter scale! Will be back for that sweet turkey burger with that soft bun action. Bravo 👏”

“This was my first time to a Meddys here in town but won't be my last. Food was fresh and delicious. I had the plentiful platter and it lived up its name as the 3 choices I had of hummus, Mediterranean salad and a chicken shawarma were each very generous portions. Employees were all friendly and helpful. Noticed they also had a decent selection of draft beers and some great happy hour specials so I look forward to taking advantage of that in the future.”

The tacos were excellent and unlike many tacos in the city had a generous amount of lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes. The rice was a special Mexican rice. Fish was flavorful but the cornmeal breading was different from the typical light coating I am used to.. the thick texture overpowered the delicate flakiness of the catfish. Coleslaw was average. Can drinks were a good price .93 each. If you have a craving for seafood/fish this place will work. Portions generous on everything we ordered.”
