“Decided to try out Tokyo last night since Sumo has over an hour wait even with an ongoing pandemic and doesn't take reservations ???? It was great! We got seated right away which is a welcome change. The service was prompt at first and then didn't try to rush us at the end. We had hibachi steak, fried rice, teriyaki chicken and shrimp. The steak was maybe better than Sumo, however, the fried rice might be slightly better at Sumo. The yum yum sauce was the best I've had. The drink prices were much better at Tokyo. They've done a nice job updating the space as well. They've clearly spent some money. The glassware and dinnerware we're all very nice. They have an extensive sushi menu as well. All in all I thought it was a much better experience than Sumo. Clearly Tokyo has made an investment and wants your business. It's been years since Sumo even pretended to care about getting my business ????♂️ Also they don't do the corny show around a grill. They just bring you the food which I much prefer. No fire or shrimp right in your face.”

“This place is a great pick for Chinese buffet. Many tables full of delicious options for all types of eaters. When my family comes in, I would say the food is almost always fresh, but it's always hot and tastes great. Service is friendly, place is clean, and the decor is everywhere, making for an immersive dining experience. Not everything will always be a score but most of the time, the food has been just fine. We come here any time we want Chinese.”

“I give this 4 stars because it was my 1st time here and I was with a party of people so I got to see a lot of delicious looking meals. I love that my grilled was grilled amazingly. We all had nice sized proportions. Nothing was dry or cold. I enjoyed my time. The servers were on their job. Complimentary bread while you wait. Alcohol looked great. All around a good experience. The only thing that caught me up was gratuity was not optional. Not sure if it was because we were a big party, from what I heard, or if that applies to anybody and everybody. Food is up there in price but fair for the quality of food but I don't want to pay tips if I have a terrible experience or waitress. But food and experience was great”

“I got 3 carry out lunches, from the time I ordered til the time I walked out with food it was 45 minutes. The woman that took my order was very polite. Chicken wings were tasty, Mac and cheese was bland according to my two co-workers. Green beans were also bland and tasted like they were fresh from the can. The beans had some season salt/Cajun spice on them sprinkled on top, but NO flavor throughout. Chicken tenders were also tasty, fries were okay too. I received bread with every order, one of my slices was the heel ????. Owner lady was polite, kids working with her acted indifferent and confused about filling orders, giving out condiments etc. I was very excited to try some southern/soul style cooking her in Kansas. The chicken was good, but as far as side dishes, I'll keep looking.”

“Went to celebrate our daughter's 21st. The food was good, as it usually is, the drinks however were hardly drinkable. I would guess they hired a new bartender because EVERY alcoholic drink that was ordered was far too heavy on the alcohol, so much so that a raspberry lemonade that was ordered was pretty much a huge shot with a little raspberry juice in it. A long island ice tea, was the same, it tasted like a shot with lemon juice in it. Every single drink that was ordered was pretty much just large shots, which if everyone was trying to get wasted would have been great, but we all had to get up and go to work, school, and/or hit the road in the morning.”
