“Today my daughter and I tried this place for the first time. We ordered the 2 meat platter, we choose ribs and chicken with two sides one collard greens and one Mac n cheese. I added a order of yams, baked beans and potato salad as well with pound cake for dessert!! Everything was absolutely AMAZING!! Hot and fresh and quick turnaround on the order. Very friendly host and the atmosphere was very relaxing. If you have tried it yet you definitely have to go out and try it. You will not be disappointed.”

“Fun local brewery. It is a great spot for people watching and I especially love it when the weather is good and the windows are open that face the street. They serve unique food and fun cocktails. They also serve local wine. Out back is a patio, which is a huge plus! Service is never consistent. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's nonexistent or confusing to the guest. The good thing is you can always just walk in and grab a drink/pay at the bar and find a seat so if you're not eating there's no reason to wait at a table.”

“IMHO this is the best breakfast restaurant in Topeka. Their omelets are the best. Ham and eggs gets you a slice of ham the size of a dinner plate. Their pancakes are awesome, just beware if you order them off the menu, they are huge!! They get busy, but the wait staff is awesome and friendly. Be aware, though, that they don't accept credit or debit cards, so you will need cash (although they do accept checks.) They have a breakfast buffet on weekends, which is also very good, but I've become a devotee of their omelets so I forgo the experience. If you haven't been here, give them a try, you won't regret it.”

“We tried Roxy's on its initial opening weekend. We spoke with the owner, who was delighted to be dealing with way more traffic than initially expected. Despite the unexpected business, Roxy's service was incredibly quick and pleasant. We had some of the ice cream (lactose free!) as well as some of the specialty peanut butter mini doughnuts. They were excellent. We will definitely be back.”

“I’m sorry to say that this restaurant is no longer open due to the passing of Jim Puff. They have just opened a couple months ago and hired new staff. The food is really good and the servers are learning and doing a good job. The fried chicken is delicious and generous serving sizes. I love that they have a salad bar with a good selection on it. We have also tried fried catfish and chicken fried steak all were equally as tasty. I’m hoping our community will back him up and keep Puffy open to add to the variety of places to eat in our town.”
