“***note****This is a different restaurant than the reviews that are before February 2021. They moved to Lincoln Kansas from their old location in Butte, Montana. They have a different menu, different location, etc. We had a bad experience the first time coming for dinner, so we gave it a couple more tries, including brunch. The timing was better, but the things that were wrong, stayed about the same. The owners (male at front desk area and amazing chef in back) and their mother, who is in most the time are kind, friendly, helpful, and remember most guests. It is a good hometown feel. They always have smiles. The other waitress is not helpful, slightly rude, and seems like she has no experience. I feel confident enough about this opinion. That I am not afraid for her to see this. Their business would do much better without an employee like that. When we were served by the owners, our drinks were filled and are plates were cleared quickly. When we were served by the other woman, we had to ask a few times for refills. And were never checked on. I had water, but husband had Coke. Prices are a little high. Cheapest is about $8 and some dishes are getting close to $20 a plate. Tables are tiny, and do not fit all the condiments and extras+the food. The portions seem small to me for the price. Specifically the nachos. Except their sandwiches. They are HUGE and there is no good way to eat it. You just have to break it up and eat with a fork. They have a signature Bean cheese dip mixture that is on most things. I think it is yummy. The green salsa is lacking in flavor, and they have no other salsa or Pico options. The silverware needed to be cleaned better. Some dishes were burnt. Like the chips and the Texas toast. The dishes look pretty, but are unrealistic for eating. The soft tacos are piled on eachother, the burgers slop all over, and the cajun chicken sandwhiches are huge and bottom is soggy. Salads were fine. Just a bag of mixed salad from the store, and you can see them filling the salad dressing cups with a great value bottle of ranch from the cooler. Food is slow to come out. It has improved since first opening of course. Appetizers and meal come out at the same time, so there is no use in ordering an appetizer. They need to make separate tickets for the chef for appetizers vs. Meals. Busquits were cut out squares like a sheet busquit, gravy was pretty good. Eggs were cooked to perfection, but had no salt/pepper, which is easy to add. Overall it was messy, pretty good flavor, but overpriced. We will probably not go again. It's about $50 with the tip and drinks each time we go for my husband and I. For that, we will go to town to a nice restaurant. Owners are great, and I tried it a few times because of that, but the negatives outweigh the positives for me personally. I've heard a lot of other people say they love it. If their prices lowered by 10-20% and they got a new waitress, we'd go back regularly. 0/5 accessibility ♿️ good parking, but there were steps and inconvenient doorway entrance. Would be near impossible with a wheelchair, very difficult for a walker, and completely impossible for a motorized wheelchair. 2/5 Baby friendly. No kind of table or changing station or anything like that in the bathroom. They do have highchairs available. *in the response to this review the owner has given understandable explanations. please note I have never ordered food to go, so I'm not sure who the owner is thinking of, but that was not us.”

“Very friendly baristas, very nice coffees and very delicious foods! Drive through only, but good atmosphere! I ordered the hot chocolate and my husband ordered the maple waffle sandwich. “Was passing Junction when hunger struck my husband and I. The portions, price, and taste are hard to beat. We were so full that we didn't get a chance to try their home made pies. If you're ever in the area, definitely stop by because you won't be disappointed. We will definitely be back!”

“This sweet & cute coffee shop was such an amazing little place! We stayed in Oakley on our way to Colorado, and we will definitely be back! Definitely stop by here if you’re going through Oakley!”

“Our favorite place to bring the kids. My favorite item is a Pina colada with cream snow cone and cream cheese pretzel. Recently we ordered lunch, I ordered the Tiger burger and had no clue it would be so large! Highly recommend stopping in this hidden gem and checking out their menu. Guaranteed to put a smile on your sweet tooth!”

“If you’re lucky enough to go on a day when they have the Mac-and-Cheese Grilled Cheese, I’d highly suggest it! The location has such a cute welcoming feel, and is a great place to catch lunch with some friends. The decor is beautiful and there is a home-cooked feel to the food that makes it simultaneously delicious and comforting. Would go again as I pass through town!”

“I really wanted to like this place. It looks so good online and after a full day at the Garden City water park (which is really great, by the way), my family and I were real hungry. The good: Creative menu. Clean place. The bad: Order at the counter (which sucks, because the menu requires time to read with so many unique offerings), and pickup at the counter. And even though it's counter service, the credit card machine tries to get full service tips (22%, or more). The place is a shameless money grab. They charge for a cup of water. I got the $11 Kansas Burger (see pic) which is supposed to come with "onion rings" but they served me Durkee fried onion crumbs from a can (the stuff on green bean casserole at Thanksgiving). Pinky's is the first restaurant I've seen that serves burgers but doesn't have fries (suggestion to management: get an air fryer and some frozen fries. And get some frozen onion rings, while you're at it). The ambiance: It's loud, real loud with nothing to absorb the sound. Everyone yells at their tablemates and like a vicious cycle, the volume escalates. And it's not comfortable with hard seats from a typical fast-food restaurant (but this place charges upscale restaurant prices). Bottom line: The potential is there, but as of July 2022, it is falling short.”

“Really cool little coffee shop with breakfast items. The croissant was freshly made that day and delicious. The cranberry and almond scone was out of this world!! You must get a scone if you come here. The family that owns the place was super nice and you can tell they really care about the place.”

“If I go by the taste of the drink I got it would easily be a 4 stars. However I asked for no ice and got the drink that only was filled a little over half way up. I've never had this happen at any other place with similar drinks. And when I looked at it kinda confused they took it back and put ice in it. Not so sure I want to come back. Last time was no where near as bad but this time the way they treated me was very shocking to me.”

“A Hidden Gem!! If you are making any sort of sojourn through the Flint hills, this place is a welcome respite. My bride and I stopped in for an early lunch. We had two of the finest sandwiches we've ever had. Generous portions of delicious meats served on fresh baked bread with crisp, delicious veggies, and a nice pasta salad, all served with the friendliness that only small-town Kansas seems able to summon. Hence, to travel through Florence means a stop here for lunch. Some nice historic places are in the vicinity, and there's a watering hole down the street for us to check out on our next trip.”

“Donuts: Wonderful Sausage Rolls: Amazing (need to heat longer center was almost cold) Donut Holes: OUT 😢😭😭😭 Service is always fast and friendly. We stop nearly every time we are in Fort Scott. We do run into the lack of donut holes more often than not. That is the ONLY drawback.”

“Saw on Shark Tank and knowing how hard it is to find good quality stone ground tortillas I ordered immediately! Just got my order today. Tossed a few on the griddle with a little butter and salt just to test them. They are SO GOOD! Store bought have become like rubber disks. 😝 Shipping and packaging was excellent. Can easily freeze and use a dozen at a time. Thank you! I'll be ordering more.”

“Hands down the absolutely the best cheesecake I have tasted in my almost 50 years of life. It was incredible!! Yes, we have been to the larger more well known national chain. This lil store in my opinion, is simply better. Myself, my wife and son ordered the cinnamon bun cheesecake to go. It was our first visit there. All I can say is that, it was simply incredible!!!!! I don’t know what ingredients the recipe calls for, but this store has absolutely figured it out. Give this shop a shot, incredible cheesecake, reasonable price. In the heart of old town We will absolutely be back”
