“First time to visit Tamales and Monchis Guanajuato! Oh my goodness! Their food is great and very tasty! The gentleman that took our order was very friendly and knowledgeable about their food items! He explained the whole menu to us. Very cheerful and joyful! Their dining area was very clean and colorful! We gave our order and within just a few minutes it was ready and brought out to us! Their tamales are very good! These are the best tamales that we had in a long time. Very moist and done greatly!! You gotta check them out for yourself!! We'll have to visit them again soon!! “Just look at all that food! That's a very generous portion of General Tso's Chicken jam packed in that container and it was delicious. Wok fresh and sauced perfectly, the chicken had that nice light crunch from the breading, with a tender meat interior. The garlic, soy and pepper notes were good, but I would have liked a little more heat, more kick from the pepper. The pork fried rice was tasty, seasoned well and included a nice portion of tender, diced, roasted pork. Also including roasted pork, were the egg rolls which were fried to perfection and delivered big time on the crunch factor. And not to be slighted, the Crab Rangoon was excellent, providing that seasoned sweet & savory delight in every bite. As you can see from the pic, a lot of sauce packets were included in the carry-out bag. None were needed.”

“Just finished our first meal here, but it won’t be the last. The restaurant was clean, bright, and more spacious than it looked from outside. The service was great: fast, friendly, and efficient. Our coffee was refilled several times throughout our meal and we never had to ask. Our food was good too. My husband really enjoyed the Brutus (chicken fried steak) and was particularly happy with the sausage gravy and the breading on the steak. The portion was quite large. I had the Banana Bread French Toast, which was also well cooked and came with a large portion size. My only real complaint was that I would have liked the syrup on the side. It was good syrup, but the dish came with so much poured all over (and pooled deeply on the entire plate) that I couldn’t really taste the banana bread itself, which was a real shame. I think it is probably amazing. Still, I’d highly recommend trying out this local gem. We will definitely be back.”

This lil store in my opinion, is simply better. Myself, my wife and son ordered the cinnamon bun cheesecake to go. It was our first visit there. All I can say is that, it was simply incredible!!!!! I don’t know what ingredients the recipe calls for, but this store has absolutely figured it out. Give this shop a shot, incredible cheesecake, reasonable price. The burgers are delicious and the absolute favorite for breakfast is the breakfast burrito, almost 2 meals wrapped in a tortilla.... scrambled eggs, cheese bacon, sausage, or both. If you call ahead your breakfast can be curbside delivered without the hassle of a long drive-through! Highly recommended!!”

“Morgan and Ben have done an absolutely amazing job on the renovations and it looks beautiful! The food is amazing and it's awesome that they try new things on their buffet! The sweet and sour sauce is perfect! The owners are 2 of the hardest working people I know and really take care of their workers. They are super friendly and really go out of their way to make their customers feel good. My daughter works for them, and I would highly recommend this being a first time job for any kid. They have taken such good care of her. And for that, I'll be forever greatful. I worked with them for years, and they became my family.”

“I was hoping I would get a survey. Food was great. Employees were sincere and caring about their job. It was busy lunch of course and they were working as hard and as fast as they could for their staffing. One worker said "I will be back in a few minutes " and for a..second I thought ,wait ,,it is busy. But then shortly he showed back up with another employee that he went to pick up to come to work and as soon as they both walked in the door they both started working and helping guests. Now that is team work! I come from a job with a great deal of team workers so it really showed here! Thanks to everyone that was working on Friday April 29th. We appreciate you!!”
