“Not feeling too well today but out shopping with my son. I opted for a salmon platter. Not only was service genuinely friendly (despite my blah demeanor) but the food was AMAZING! I can honestly say this was some of the best prepared salmon I've had in a long time. He gave me the option of medium or well. My medium salmon was moist with a perfectly seasoned crust from the grill. The bed of rice the salmon sat on was good enough to stand on its own. I'm a creature of habit and stick to what I know is good. I'll definitely be back.”

“Pretty torn wish I could give half scores. Maybe I had hyped this place up a bit too much having seen all of the good reviews or maybe I'm just too picky either could be a possibility. First and foremost let me say the service was really great from the hostess to our server. They were all friendly and welcoming and even brought a sample of the pimento cheese to see if the baby would eat it. But the food was hit or miss. The pimento cheese was good but the tortilla chips we're not. I wasn't sure if they were intentionally more like pita chips but regardless they were way too thick and stale like really chewy stale. The tacos were good. The alderman the steak was super chewy which made it super hard to tear and eat. It would've been better if the pieces were smaller. The short rib egg rolls tasted a bit odd the dipping sauce for them set me on fire super hot so if you like hot stuff go for that. The lone wolf was the shining star though it saved the night.”

The service was a little slow but there was a huge increase in business due to a conference that was in town and the management team was not aware so they were not staffed. They did great though and treated us really well. The only reason that I gave them 4 stars was due to their prices. They are a tad higher than I expected. Not horrible but a little high. You need to give them a try if you are in Louisville. I had a pulled pork sandwich on a pretzel bun. The fries were amazing. It was a fry trio with waffle, straw style, curly and another style of fries. The seasoning was superb. The other plate was my parents order. It was a meatloaf and sausage recipe that they said was delicious as well. **I updated my review as my second visit was a few days ago (1/15/2020) and it was so good! My wife and I both gave them 5 stars this time as she wasn’t with me last time**”

“Came in with a large group (15+) on a tight schedule in between meetings. The waiters were attentive and helpful in letting our group know what options were faster for the kitchen staff to prepare. The chicken and mushroom pasta was the perfect portion for lunch - although a bit pricy at ~$15 for this bowl.. a friend had the shrimp and mango tacos (a filling 3 tacos and black beans). Minus one star just for a little confusion during the handing out/collection of checks. Otherwise a great experience! The appetizers looked delicious, and their drink menu looked excellent. Definitely coming back when we have more time to enjoy our food!”
