“Two different experiences first time was lunch, fish sandwich, fried mushrooms, onion rings, fries, and buffalo chicken sandwich. (Not all for me) Not a long wait, enjoyed everything we're impressed with the fish and the chicken. Second time, burgers and chicken. Sandwiches all sorts of sides. We were not warned about the wait. The next customer In line was... 20+ plus minutes we would have left if we knew. We waited every second of that, long enough for two of my girls to need to use the restroom.... There was sewage leak or something. The bathrooms were so dirty I contemplated taking my five year old outside. This go round it was obviously a frozen burger, frozen pre-marinated grilled chicken breast. And they were really short handed. So why four stars? A) The first time was great, just don't use the bathroom and order fried food. And you will love it. B) The bathrooms are in the gas station next door. It is being worked on, so who knows who's fault that is. But man, it was bad. C) They are just getting started hopefully frozen burger and frozen chicken breasts aren't the full vision. I feel like they are working toward more. D) It's a local start up, I like to see hard working people succeed and I hope they do. Not going back for a while but if it's still up and running in six months I'll be drawn back like a month to flame. They were friendly and working hard, so you go try it, and let me know.”

“The gas station pump pay station have issues accepting credit cards at times I move to a different pay station it works but very annoying. The curbs going into and out of the gas station are rediculously high if you have a lowered car don't come here lol. Otherwise good gas station. Those complaining about calling in to get gas prices welcome to the 21st century you can always look it up on your phone.”

“Went for the evening meal. The place is comfortable and cozy, modern and rustic. A very relaxed and unhurried atmosphere with plenty of time for conversation. There was a gentleman playing acoustic guitar and singing easy country classics. Loved the little cheese breads. Had the shrimp appetizer, delicious. The beef was cooked with peppercorns and a little salt. It was tender and sweet. The service was outstanding. Well worth the drive.”

“Used to love this place as El Potrillo and frequented it almost 4 times a week. Once it closed and reopened as Agaves, i was hesitant about it. But now i have tried it and all i can say is wow! The food, the atmosphere, the whole place is amazing! Everything is so fresh that you can actually taste it. Super clean, the staff is remarkable and the food is even better. Will highly recommend and will most definitely return!”

“First time there this evening and will definitely be going back. Atmosphere is one that this city has needed for a long time. The food was really good. I highly recommend the fish and chips. The portions are huge. You will definitely be taking some home. My only complaint would be the salad. Paying for a $6 side salad I can say it was a little disappointing. It’s Very small and served on a Saucer type plate. Other than that It was great! I just hope this place stays around. It’s worth a try and we don’t have to drive into Lex.”

“Enjoyed our dinner last night. My husband enjoyed his sausage and green pepper pizza. The crust was perfectly crunchy. (Also, 5/8 of the small pizza was filling for him.) I really enjoyed my fish sandwich. And we shared waffle fries, which were comparable to Chick-fil-A but crispier! Good experience, and the girls working the counter were very kind to us.”
