“We waited till a weekday after noon to try this new establishment. Cindy’s on the barge was here for years. The burger barn in Cadiz was the original and the owners are banking on bringing in more customers than Cindy’s did. It’s not enough to rely on the fisherman and boaters to keep them afloat and The Burger Barn owners are doing a great job advertising to the general public that a Bar and grill in this out of the way place deserves the local population to take that extra drive to the lake and try delicious foods. Of course with a place called Burger Barn my wife and I both chose the 1/2 pound burger with different condiments. The buns are lightly toasted and fresh, I added two slices of bacon and American cheese. The burger was a thick 1/2 lb and juicy. Tomato and lettuce was fresh. The enormous helpings of fry’s were slightly over cooked. We each added a side of the thin onion rings and were both amazed at how thin but crisp the rings are. Our son chose the chicken nuggets and fry’s and highly recommends them as he wants to go eat there every day. The service was top notch. Very friendly servers that are really invested into making each customer feel welcome and comfortable. The steps from the parking lot might detour some from trekking down the hill to the floating barge but I assure you that it’s well worth it. Handicap access is around the ramp at the end of the parking lot. Easily winding down to the assessable bridge into the restaurant. All in all it’s very nice having a go to place that specializes in thick juicy burgers. I wish your business the best.”

“Very relaxed, casual atmosphere. Water is served in bottles which was nice. Someone recommended the lasagna, so I tried it and it did not disappoint. The pizza was huge..one slice could fill you up. The Alfredo was delicious too. Didn’t try the spaghetti, but was told it was good also.”

“I can’t wait to return!!!! Our Beautiful Lunch Buddies were celebrating 🥳 a birthday. The birthday girl wanted to come back to this restaurant that she and her husband stumbled on to. The service was great, the food was incredible, the portion sizes where really big ( we had alot of “to go boxes”) AND you have to save room or take home the dessert pie. “We had reservations at the other state park and a tornado hit..no power trees down. They sent us to Kenlake and they got us in a cabin. Great cabins. Loved the perk of breakfast every morning and drinks at night. I didn't go to breakfast the 1st day but my daughter did and said the buffet was great. The other mornings we had a menu. Great menu and very tasty. Great staff at both parks.”

“This is a great place to unwind and grab a beer (or other libation) and an excellent BBQ that will be delivered from Boss Hogg's eating establishment only steps away. The place has a smoking area that is out of the weather and has tables and chairs so you don't miss any goings on in the rest of the place. They also have wi-fi. The crowd appears to be just good old country folk. The staff is friendly and seemed to know almost all the patrons. Recommendation this place highly.”

“My wife and I decided to sample the food here after a day spent at the Homeplace. Honestly, we weren't expecting more than edible food at tolerable prices. Turns out we set our sights far too low. We both ordered the 6 oz. rib-eye, Pittsburgh style and couldn't have been more delighted. They were fantastic, as were the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. My wife is a restaurant manager, and for the first time ever she asked that a separate gratuity be brought straight to the chef. Aurora Landing Restaurant isn't just OK food with a view. This is destination dining. Great people, terrific food and a fabulous view.”

“Stopped here for lunch on our day on the lake on the boat! There was a spot we count park the boat and the food was great! One of my kids got the chicken fingers (I had a bite they were great) and the other had the grilled cheese (again, had a bite and it was great). My husband and I had the BBQ chicken pizza and it was one of the best I ever had! Highly recommend!”
