Of course the food is fantastic. 1 order of fries is enough for 2 people (the garlic herb fries are delicious). The hot dogs are LOADED with toppings so it may be easier to eat with a fork. “I’ve been going to this restaurant for over 10 years. Boris the manager is one of a kind. Our first time dining here Boris was our Waiter. Gave superb service. As a manger he goes above and beyond. We came at 928 pm one night, the restaurant closes at 930. Boris welcomed us in and served us our meal anyway. Again, with superb service. We usually come just for the quail and grits, now we come hoping to be be greeted by Boris also. Excellent food, inviting atmosphere and wonderful professional service by everyone there. Our waiter the last two times I believe is name was Jonathan, very very nice young man. We recommend this restaurant to anyone we know passing through Shreveport. “I tried this yesterday on waitr. It was surprisingly good! The miso soup was delicious. However, I wish they put tofu in to soup and used sticky rice instead of long gain white rice in the rolls. The rolls are huge and quite tasty though. I will probably order lunch there again soon! Would recommend this to friends.”

“We were looking for a place to get off the highway for a while and have one last great meal in Louisiana. We read some reviews for Cassandra's Louisiana Kitchen online and thought it sounded great. We arrived a little before 1:00 PM on a Sunday and the after church crowd was there, all dressed so nicely from attending church. While the parking lot was pretty full we were able to get a table right away. Our waitress was one of the sweetest people we met on our trip. She was kind and very helpful. We asked a couple of questions, got our drinks and placed our order for food. It you are looking for some home cooking at a restaurant Cassandra's is the place. I got the spicy smothered shrimp. The portion was very generous and the shrimp were beautiful and cooked perfectly to make the a real treat. The gravy they were smothered in was delicious and had just the right amount of spice to make it flavorful but not too hot. Also at our table I got to try the shrimp and grits which tasted great with well cooked grits and great flavors. I easily could have had a full plate of the shrimp and grits, and would definitely order it in the future. My wife ordered the burger and thought the burger was delicious. In fact she was still talking about the burger miles down the road as we were back on the highway. If you want to eat some great southern soul food then be sure to visit Cassandra's Louisiana Kitchen.”

It took about 30 minutes to an hour to get my food and it shouldn't have to take that long with very little customer.
