“Once we discovered an alternative to Subway, we were hooked. I love the poboy bread better than Subway and the meat is sliced and heated on the spot. We usually get the medium club sandwich and usually buy the combo which comes with a drink and chips. It is $11.00 for the Medium combo and I think that is very good for a meal since my spouse and I split the poboy. We usually go to the one on Seigen Lane, which is the strip mall across from Academy Sports, next to Capitol One Bank.”

“It says that the business updated the store hours four days ago to close at one a.m. I get there around 11 p.m. and the doors are locked. The manager comes out and informs us that the restaurant closed at 11 p.m. That sucks. The food is good, but it seems every time my friends an I go we have bad table service.”

“I was hungry for hash browns, the shredded kind. Checking the menus of breakfast places, one after the other, they all had “country” fried potatoes finally I remembered. The Waffle House has great hash browns, the kind I was hungry for. So off we went. Great breakfast...egg sunny side up, hash browns, toast, and coffee. My spouse got the waffle. Well done Waffle House.”

“I had the saucy shrimp! It was flavorful. Didn’t upset my stomach Pouch either. Very good portion for 10 bucks! I can eat on this tonight and tomorrow! So why the 4 star.... I said no olives and they put 4 in there! If you are out with your family, I recommend this to munch on during the outing. Of course you have to be at the stage to eat this type of food.”

“Great customer service by Serenity! She was so kind and thoughtful by giving us drinks on the house. My family had been traveling for a while and her gesture speaks volumes about her character and this Panera in Baton Rouge. Food was prompt and delicious. Just what I'd expect from Panera.”

“Usually excellent. Lately I have received some slow delivery times. However, the food is always great and realize there is a lot going on right now in the world so a few slow deliveries can be over looked.”

“I was impressed again with my food at Bergeron's City Market. I had the fried fish and fried shrimp. The breading/batter on my shrimp was a little clumped up in a few areas of the shrimp, like they were ganged up in the fry basket, but the texture and flavor was very good. The fish had a corn meal batter which was crispy and seasoned just right. I liked the two different batters, corn meal for the fish, flour for the shrimp. My sides were cabbage which had greens and sausage in it. The cabbage was fresh and not over done. The macaroni and cheese was obviously homemade with a Béchamel sauce, and spiral noodles. I generally always get the tossed Green salad, which is in a creamy vinaigrette. I added a little salt for my taste. The shrimp creole was good. It was homemade and had a great taste. The bland white rice really stole from the red gravy flavor. I will say again the dish was good. It was so good, I bought some of the same red sauce for the house. These are only small things I thought of while posting this. The stuffed bell pepper had a crawfish stuffing which had gobs of crawfish. It was all thriller and not much filler. The bread pudding was excellent. I will be back !! I enjoy having fresh homemade food ready to eat !!! And even bought Togo stuff to cook at the house I forgot to mention the homemade tartar sauce is zippy and I love it ! The cocktail sauce was great too !!!”

“Did a road trip to Gonzales, school shopping. We talk about not doing our routine of not going to Olive Garden. However we ? the place. We check in, had a text in 23 minutes, table for 4 ready. Drinks and salad no problem. The main course on the table within 21 minutes. Great food and service. Yes, i have a habit of hitting a stop watch that for places where your ice melts, waiting.”

“This was my first dining experience at a Whataburger. I came in for breakfast. The best thing on the plate was the hash brown sticks and the biscuit. The bacon was wadded-up, and not impressive. The Sausage Patty was very dry and grainy. The Grits had so much oil on the top of them I did not want to give them a chance. But I pushed the oil away and took a bite anyway. The Grits tasted like some type of plastic mush. The eggs were low quality. The texture was not impressive. Salt and pepper helped them. Being on a biscuit would have even made the eggs better by masking them. I was very surprised by the picante sauce. It was very good. For $7.34 with drink not too bad even though the $1 added grits were yuck.”

“The people working there is very friendly and give an excellent service. The place is nice and clean the only thing i don't like is the floor is really sticky but other than that everything looks pretty good and clean. The food is delicious, i love the food. This place is pretty busy and the parking lot is small and the line of the drive thru is long. So get early.”

“Smoothie King is a life saver for me. Health issues had me underweight and (worse) malnourished. I keep track of which enhancers I get and verify that I am getting what I need. As with all things, some stores are better than others. Most are reasonably professional and have a decent product. A couple of ones make me question if I am getting the enhancers I order or are not consistent with quality. There are a few, however, that are so personable, so efficient, and so consistently excellent that I will drive several miles away to get to them because I KNOW my smoothie will be accurate, well blended, and HAVE EVERYTHING IN IT THAT I PAID TO GET. When the quality of your health--and therefore job, family, happiness, grandson--and even the age to which you can enjoy living DEPENDS on whether or not people are actually taking the time to add some powders, liquids, or herbs to your smoothie, being able to trust the people who assemble the ingredients IS ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL. I have that level of trust and confidence with Smoothie King #1080 on Siegen Ln in Baton Rouge more than I have with Any Other Store. There are other SKs I like and trust, but there are none that I trust more than #1080.”
