“Carreta's is a great place to eat lunch or catch an afternoon drink. Their lunch menu has a lot of choices and has a really good selection. I got the taco salad with mushrooms. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly. The salad had a great taste. The chip and salsa were good as always. The staff was super nice and warm. They always had a refill ready and it's always nice to be asked if I want a drink to go. Thanks for making my lunch break a little better.”

“Domino's isn't as good as it used to be, but it's still one of the better options for delivery in my area. The pan pizza is delicious as long as they put cheese on the entire thing. That's hit or miss though. I've tried the chicken carbonara pasta a couple of times, but I don't think I'll order it again. They're super stingy with the alfredo sauce and there was barely any chicken in it. For $7, it's a total waste. I actually had to add more seasoning and cheese to make it edible. One plus is that the delivery drivers are always so nice and professional. That's the main reason I continue to order from here.”

This number 1 for flavor so far , however not number one in the amount or size of shrimp they give you . Personally , I’m into the size , amount , and quality of shrimp on my plate , Very tasty , however . (Didn’t care for the tiny shrimp in my rice or the pink color on my rice. )Atmosphere was lovely but could have been friendlier . Also , feed your fish so it doesn’t want to eat my hair . I asked the name of the fish , the girl said he didn’t have a name . They call it red devil . Gee, how nice . Name your fish for God’s sake . How rude .”

I got egg drop soup with wontons in it, Szechuan beef, chicken, shrimp, and scallops in garlic sauce, shrimp egg rolls, and sweet and sour chicken. All for only $31 and some change although I did get the pint on sweet and sour chicken for free since my order was over $25. I hope these pictures and this review helps. “This was my first time ordering from Vieux Carre' Pizza. I ordered delivery and it was delivered in a reasonable amount time. It was piping hot when it arrived (yay). I chose the Supreme Pizza because the business photo looked really good. Well, my pizza didn’t look the same. The toppings were plenty in the center, but started thinning out about two-thirds of the way towards the edge of the crust. I ended up throwing a lot of the crust away. The toppings had really good flavor and the crust was good (semi sweet). I was impressed with the overall taste. I ended up having leftovers for the next day and that’s when things went downhill. The banging flavor was no longer there. Also, the cheese turned into a creamy consistency...it was weird. From a price perspective, I think the pizzas are a bit pricey for what you get. With a discount, I paid almost $15 for a medium. I would definitely order again, but will only order enough for one meal (given the change in taste on day 2).”

“I had a job on the eastbank so I decided to get home cooking from Mr. Poor. Boy, I ordered liver n onions which I haven't had in a long time. Started with a nice little salad and the mashed potatoes were seasoned to perfection with the right amount of black pepper just how I like em, the liver was good and I had lots of brown gravy that was actually delicious. The only thing is I wish there was more onions, but that's ok, I will just ask for extra next time. The food is really good and the service is very friendly.”
