“This was my first time ordering from Vieux Carre' Pizza. I ordered delivery and it was delivered in a reasonable amount time. It was piping hot when it arrived (yay). I chose the Supreme Pizza because the business photo looked really good. Well, my pizza didn’t look the same. The toppings were plenty in the center, but started thinning out about two-thirds of the way towards the edge of the crust. I ended up throwing a lot of the crust away. The toppings had really good flavor and the crust was good (semi sweet). I was impressed with the overall taste. I ended up having leftovers for the next day and that’s when things went downhill. The banging flavor was no longer there. Also, the cheese turned into a creamy consistency...it was weird. From a price perspective, I think the pizzas are a bit pricey for what you get. With a discount, I paid almost $15 for a medium. I would definitely order again, but will only order enough for one meal (given the change in taste on day 2).”

“I had a job on the eastbank so I decided to get home cooking from Mr. Poor. Boy, I ordered liver n onions which I haven't had in a long time. Started with a nice little salad and the mashed potatoes were seasoned to perfection with the right amount of black pepper just how I like em, the liver was good and I had lots of brown gravy that was actually delicious. The only thing is I wish there was more onions, but that's ok, I will just ask for extra next time. The food is really good and the service is very friendly.”

“4 stars for it's type of place. Breakfast place locals go to. I always return on every trip and get their grits :-). Father got French toast today. Smelled very good. Nice that they customize their meals. For example, if you ask for crispy bacon, that is the way it comes. Can't say that about other places we had breakfast at. Friendly place with lots of regulars who chat with each other and the wait staff. Half eaten food pictures (Sorry we were hungry!)”

“We were out shopping and stopped by for a quick lunch. Despite the road sign being broken, the restaurant itself has an attractive modern appearance. The drive and parking area was clean and free of trash. Going inside, the interior also looked modern and sleek. We were waited on immediately by a friendly staff. We ordered 2 of the 4 for 4 crispy chicken blt meals. One of the freestyle soda machines were broken and the one that was working was out of coca cola. All of the seating area was clean so we were able to sit at any available table. We got our food and it was cooked very well. It was even visually appealing. It tasted delicious! We've been to this location before and plan on returning.”

All I can say is this place is amazing it’s a small little restaurant with a comfy home feeling.I sat down was immediately attended by great staff who offered to take my order.I ordered a horchata drink witch was as delicious as they can make it,I started off with ordering two Baleadas with eggs ,beans ,cream and cheese, they were spot on not to thick or two thin just the right amount of everything and not over cooked (burned).I then proceeded to order (The Ground Beef Enchilada)again it was definitely my favorite part of my meal, presentation was executed amazingly, flavor was great price excellent. This place is a hidden gem in New Orleans”
