“Gorgeous venue! Hideaway Hall has got an unexpectedly classy, Roaring ‘20s-style vibe, with so much attention to detail. The main room is decorated tastefully, fun enough for a wild Cajun dance party, but neutral enough for a very unique wedding reception. I’d love to see themed events happen in the blue bar, like a murder mystery dinner or mafia party or something that would blend in so seamlessly with the look of this venue. I hope they’ll be opening it up more often, and that they’ll bring different styles of music to Lafayette as well.”

“The food and service were amazing. I would pick their wings over any place I've ever been to. Also the fries with the sauce and range are out of this world. 100% recommend everyone try them you won't be disappointed”

“Love this chevron! Quick little stop if you want something to eat, drink, or fuel up. However, the staff is ALWAYS on the phone with their "kinfolk" or their "boo" and it's very strange always going in here to buy stuff and never really being 'consciously' served. Its comical but kind of sad and most certainly unprofessional. Staff could use more training.”

“I was throughly impressed with their drink selection and the raw ingredients in their food (you can definitely tell that they source great products). My problem was the charcuterie board and ribeye fell extremely flat. 10/10 recommend going for drink as the ambience and drink selection is fantastic. The food’s 5/10 at best, however it is the first week so I will be back and will update review accordingly. At a price point of $70 for a ribeye and $25 for the charcuterie board I had high expectations. Service is a bit slow as well but not problematic as the atmosphere lends itself to good conversations.”

“I absolutely fell in love with the snowballs in 2021 after moving here. The consistency of the ice is like no other snowball stand around. If you ever had a Mom’s snowball from Houma, and knew the flavor was on point every time, that is what Coastal Fire & Ice brings. I have yet to try the blue point crabs, but I am looking for some Prairie Cajun to impress me. This bayou girl will update the review once I try their crabs.”

“My first time here and the classic was real good. If you looking for something different with full of flavor and taste then this is the place to go. Chicken was very tender and seasoned right. The sauce was good with a fluffy waffle. Try this place out... I will be back again. The stuff was very helpful and nice.”

“Going to The Whisper Room is like walking into a magical gin draped wonderland! The chairs are comfy, the drinks are inventive (Cara Cara infused gin? YES PLEASE), and the people are the perfect blend of sweet and spicy! If you’re looking for a fun spot to read, socialize, just vibe with libations, whatever you’ve found the right place. There are also many non-gin based drinks and food options, but for me personally… of all the gin joints, in all the towns, in all the world, I’m walking into The Whisper Room.”

“Was so happy to come across this store by mistake one day, instead of havig to stop at Big Boys down the road. Much nicer employees. If only they stayed open later or 24 hours at least my life would be a lil bit smoother. And prob other ppls bc I can't be the only person who feels disrespected at their competition down the road. I will always go here first compares to store down the road even tho that other store is closer for me.”

“The new Chick fil A is wonderful. It's really big, from one end to the other. We dined in. The 2 lines were backed up almost to the entrance. I guess they should have made 3. It was clean and people nice.”

“Wow! Tough to put it away to enjoy later! In the picture is a portion of chicken and a portion of beef boudin! Way healthier than the pork for ones physical and spiritual being. Phenomenal texture and muxture! Haven't had boudin in a while, I do not remember it tasting so dang good!!! Great job! DO YOU SHIP TO FLORIDA? Although it is worth the drive back that way… we'll likely see you again soon.”

“My wife and I took a friend when they first opened and unfortunately, both our burgers were over cooked to well done, even though the Menu said we could order our desired doneness. She was medium rare and I was medium. Both came out well done +. Our friend ordered a fish sandwich which he enjoyed. The service was attentive and courteous so we wrote our experience off to just being open for a month. We were excited to have another restaurant at Couret Farms. Experience #2 was my wife and a friend. They got the same overcooked results. #3-Three months have gone by and my wife is out of town. I ordered the large eight ounce burger, cooked medium. For a burger of that thickness, it does not take a 5 Star Chef to take it off the grill early. Again it was cooked overly well done AGAIN! I now have two unfortunate conclusions; 1. Compared to other eight ounce burgers (Swanky’s. & Burger-smith, The burger at The Original Patti are considerably thinner. Of course overcooking a burger will reduce its pre cooked weight. My suspicion is their burger is underweight pre cooked. 2. My other suspicion is all of the burgers at The Original Patti are pre cooked and then heated back up on the grill when ordered. The service has always been courteous and professional. The burgers are nicely seasoned and the toppings are fresh, as are the. buns. The problem is how the burgers are cooked. Not a recipe for sustainable success.”
