“Excellent selection of smoothies, protein bars and shakes and snacks that taste really good. The service is very fast and accurate. They have a drive thru option available. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Even though you normally take this to go, they do have tables and sitting areas inside and outside the store. The store is very clean, which is consistent for the chain of stores. This is always one of my favorite places to visit frequently.”

“Was lucky enough to try this place for lunch on a weekend getaway. In the heart of the historic district, plenty of history to see. The restaurant is old and established. Home of the original meat pie and it did not disappoint. We tried like 4 appetizers....all were great. I had the country fried steak, delicious. Highly recommend for nostalgic purposes and the food was done right. Only drawback was no alcohol. Loved it!!!!!”

“It's pretty good if you like "home" cooked southern type food. They're a little pricey for a lunch plate at $11something but you do get a lot of food that you choose yourself from the "buffet". The biggest problem that I have with Almost Home is that they're ALWAYS out of sides. I went today at 1215 and intended to get the 1 meat + 3 sides... There was no mac n cheese (which is usually amazing) so I was left with little options, corn, beans, sweet potatoes, wilted lettuce. There were no rolls either except one old hard corner one. I suppose if you want food that's *almost* like home and you don't mind paying 11 or 12 bucks for it, it's alright. It is the only place like it in Natchitoches which is a plus. The cashier's are generally friendly and the location is very neat and clean.”
