“Very homie little restaurant in the bywater neighborhood. Very friendly staff and quick service. The food is very satisfying and fresh. It's easy to find and has a very distinctive sign. The art in the restaurant is quirky and fun. Very comfortable seating and spacious area. It's on the main road so it's easy to find. I had the lasagna and it was delicious. The salad is not wimpy like a other restaurants that have a simple menu. It was fresh and the dressing was tasty.”

“I think I found my new favorite restaurant! This unassuming restaurant serves up the most delicious food. The atmosphere and staff are full of character. Nathan was our server today, and was absolutely hilarious. He really made our experience shine. Order anything off the menu and I am sure you will be pleased. The food is plated beautifully, accented with color, and full of flavor. The hot and sour soup was probably the best soup I've ever had. DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE UP. Delicious, large portions for very reasonable prices, delightful staff, and inviting art. I will be back!”

The plates I saw coming from the kitchen looked authentic and great! I will definitely be back with cash and will change my review once I get the full experience. “This is my fave poke place! I've been here a good handful of times already. The food is always amazing and I leave satisfied each time. Their toppings are so good. I love how they offer options like marinated bean sprouts and kimchi. My top favorite bowls are the karaage bowl and literally any poke bowl, be it any of their special bowls or a build your own. They also serve takoyaki, which is a huge bonus for me!”

Details like the sturdiness of the tortillas, or how clean the slices of jalapeno were stuck out for me. Everything we tried was terrific. “One of the reasons why I love New Orleans is charbroiled oysters. I have tried all famous places, but the oyster I had here was the best. Very fresh and tasty. Acme or Eds give you small mid quality oysters at best, as they don't need to be good. Tens of people wait to have whatever the location serves. But Gallier's oysters are pretty big and fresh. Definitely my go to place for oyster.”

“We ate here for a second time when we visited New Orleans this past weekend. It was Sunday evening and I was very surprised that they weren't packed since the Bacchus parade had just ended. The only negative thing I can say is that they seemed to be very understaffed. It took a while to get a refill after my husband had asked for one. It seemed like our waitress was having to service way too many tables though. The pizza here is VERY delicious though! We ate at Reginelli's last year and couldn't wait to eat there again. I really love the crust. It is pillow soft and has the perfect "chewiness" in the middle, but it also has just the right crispness on the outside. The sauce is very good and they seem to put on just the correct amount. My husband, teenage son, and I cleaned out an entire large pizza. We can't wait to get back to New Orleans to have another!”

“Yes, 5 stars! We tried this place out with low expectations (because of all the horrible reviews) first night on our visit and the service was slow, but the chocolate cakes and cinnamon sticks were amazing. We went in the next night and the guy at the counter remembered us, our name and order! The last night of our trip we went in there and same guy was really friendly and our order was perfect and fast! I think a lot of these negative reviews should try to be understanding that this place isn’t as well staffed as it could be and nicer and they would get a lot further. I recommend it!”
