“Went with friends tonight, was having a fun time until lane #34s frame locked up. They moved us over to lane #35. It locked up also and the 14lb ball my husband was using would get stuck and thhen eventually returned with some gritty residue on it. We reported all this to management and they offered to move us again and tried to find another ball for hubby but none available. Not a big help and just kept apologizing. The place wasn't even half full. We enjoyed each others company but they could have accommodated us a little better.”

“I really like Chili's Quesadilla Explosion Salad, and they had it perfect Saturday afternoon. Kudos to the manager present when I visited; he was wiping down tables, helping with orders, greeting and seating folks. (Was he cooking too? :) ) He was polite, businesslike, and the ultimate professional. He effusively apologized for being short-staffed - but this is a Nationwide problem. Nonetheless, I enjoyed hearing it; too many businesses could care less about customer satisfaction: This manager cared, and I was very impressed. And the salad was perfect! Alexandria Chili's - YOU ROCK!!”

“Let's just say. I read reviews and almost didn't try it! Extremely happy we tried it! We got the platter for $88 that serves 3-4. It was amazing legs were nice and juicy not dries out like I had read and not salty at all. I got the fiery special sauce in medium and it was just right! My husband is from Louisiana and he was super impressed! My son got the catfish and my husband tried some and said it was awesome! The waitress was very attentive and another lady who I am assuming was a manager was circulating making sure everything was going well. This was better than an over priced seafood place we tried in Lafayette called Don's”

“Wow and wow, found this place by happy accident when traveling cross country. The food is amazing, great portion size, a d the service is top notch. Shrimp Po' Boy can be ordered grilled or fried. Both are excellent. Fried Chicken Gizzards are excellent, seasoned with salt and a nice black pepper. Hush puppies and red Beans and rice are fantastic. Busy place lots of locals calling in orders, but the get your food to yah fairly quickly. Another great thing is the don't have precooked stuff sitting around, they cook the food when you order it. Check this place out you won't be disappointed.”

“Quebedeaux’s on MacArthur in Alexandria, LA is as good or better than their name reflects. Great staff at the counter who were patient with me as a first timer, God love ‘em. Let me just say, the Pepper Jack and the Cream Cheese Boudin Balls were the BOMB-DOT-COM. Wow. They’ll make your heart go pitter patter. The red beans and rice? I bought two 24oz containers to go because I don’t know when I’ll be down this way again and it was THAT good. The prices were VERY reasonable and the young staff knew their food. Once you try this place, you’ll regret you didn’t try it sooner. Most restaurants don’t warrant me leaving a review as a lot of them are “ho-hum” in quality and service, but Quebedeaux’s is a GEM.”

“First time at Rosie Jo's. I ordered a, "Swamp Monster", and I was admittedly I initially in sticker-shock, $16 for a burger and fries, however, once I got my food, it was money well spent! It was about a 1/3 lb (cooked weight) fresh boudin patty, that was lightly breaded and fried nice, on top of 1/2-2/3 lb Black Angus hamburger patty that was just past pink but we'll within the juicy range, and topped with melted cheese, all on a fresh sweet bun. The tomatoes were very thick sliced and fresh! I never usually eat those but I did this time. The onions and pickles were fresh cut and it was so much better than anything I've had in the last couple years. I couldn't finish it all! Didn't even touch the fries; no room left.”
