“As of today May 16th they are officially open! Ordered the bacon egg and cheese croissant. The croissant is nice and flaky and bacon taste like my granny cooked it. They are a little chaotic bc it’s their first day open so I’ll cut some slack. Added pics of inside and chalkboard menu on wall. The decor and floors they did look phenomenal imo. Cool little diner feel! Imo a dollar extra for cheese is high and especially when croissant is already on the higher end. All in all sweet lady’s working here. Edit: I came back for lunch to give them a shot on their burger, I wanted to love it…but, the burger has different bun options which is cool, again $1 extra for cheese. The burger has a really sweet taste like they put sugar in the recipe. It doesn’t come with any fries. The fries are extra. I got the swampy fries, they were loaded with roast beef and gravy, would’ve been better had the added cheese. All in all for the hamburger, fries, and a drink was $20 with tip. I didn’t really care for the sweet taste on the burger meat. Added pics of burger and swampy fries.”

“Awesome restaurant to have in this area! Big menu with wide selection of classics, their menu also includes vegetarian dishes. Walked in with a table of 12 for lunch on the weekend and they were able to seat us and give great, quick service. Chips and salsa brought to the table upon arrival. Some dishes we enjoyed included the pollo loco, street tacos and the veggie plate.”

“We were truly impressed with all of the food we ordered. We tried a little of everything. Spaghetti special, street tacos, southwestern egg rolls, happy plate, rice, beans, chips and salsa.... not one thing I would change about any of it. I did add guacamole to my street tacos but that's just my preference. We will probably have this more often than we should. Great job yall!!!! Oh and the price was under 50 bucks for all of this food! Excellent prices to boot!”

“My wife and I put a carry out order tonight. The female who answered the phone was very friendly. She said it would take about 15 minutes for our food to be ready. When I walked through the door I was instantly greeted by 2 young females behind the register. I don’t remember their names but they were very cordial. The food was great. The food reminds of “home style” cooking. The chicken tenders are large! The mashed potatoes and gravy and red beans were fresh. The French fries were good as well. Look forward to more meals with The Chicken Box! I will be recommending them to others as well.”
