“We came for lunch and it was awesome! Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. The food was really good and tasted fresh and delicious. Also the place is really pretty and nicely decorated, it's a fun vibe. Prices weren't bad for the portions either. The kids chicken tenders were really well sized compared to some other places we've got kids meals and the drink menu looked super yummy! Will certainly be back!”

“I did not know this burger place was until a friend of mine here in Ponchatoulatold me to stop in and get a sandwich. So I decided that I would and I stopped in the establishment and it was nice on the inside and so I looked at the menu and that's when the problems began. It is not the biggest menu in the world but it has everything on there that I like so I'm confused now. So I did what I always do order the shrimp po-boy and it was made to perfection I mean it was delicious. So I feel kind of guilty because my wife wasn't with me and I wonder what it was that she would probably like so I did what I thought would make her happy getting her to roast beef po-boy. So I ordered a roast beef po-boy and I ordered the oyster po'boy to go and that's the best thing I could ever do I mean this place is off the chain. If you are ever in Ponchatoula I suggest you stop here and get you a hamburger if that's what you like but if you are looking for seafood then you're coming to the right restaurant.”

“There’s plenty of room here at this place, looks small on outside but it’s not small. Decorative inside and beautiful. Very clean in and out. Food is so yummy and delicious. We ordered chicken fajitas and chicken/steak fajitas and meat very tender and spiced perfectly. Salsa is so good, perfect salsa. Chips were warm and delicious.This is a must stop and eat here. It’s delicious. Our new place to eat. Staff very friendly. We could tell all the food is fresh. Yummy.”

“It's nothing to write home about, could use a lil more ambiance. And maybe toast the salad croutons. They're supposed to be toasted, not raw bread. My salad was good without them. The waitress was really sweet and at least the guy at the bar apologized for his foul language. The music blaring on patio is comparable to the music blaring in the bars in Tijuana. “I have been coming to University for years. The business as a whole has gone downhill. Everything is smaller, the prices (and credit card convenience charge) have continually gone up, and you will surely ruin the suspension on your car if you don’t pay attention to the giant craters in the parking lot. The latest example is from this morning. Ordered a half-dozen specialty donuts, paid almost $10, and then I realized that two of them were regular glazed donuts. Not worth complaining to them about, but enough to make me consider driving the extra couple of miles to Doughlicious.”

“A different type of experience. You enter on the left, place and pay for your order, then wait on your order # to be called. The way the restaurant is set up is like you're supposed to wait to be seated, and someone will come take your order, but that is definitely not the case here. Once we figured out how to place the order, everything else was fine. I think we are just used to wait staff coming to bring drinks and take our order. Food was extremely hot as in temperature but it was very good considering the atmosphere. Very reasonably priced and the amount of food was good also--enough for leftovers (take home) the only suggestion I have is for first timers in this restaurant there is someone there at the hostess station to let you know how to place and wait on your orders. We enjoyed the food and will definitely be back to try the Juicy Seafood.”

“Went to Chick Fil A today. First time in Louisiana. I have to say compared to Virginia they do their parking lots and drive thru right. Ample parking. Huge drive thru. It was crowded upon going in but the staff handled the crowd easily and my order was taken pretty quick. I was a bit nervous when I read other reviews about the salad however my salad was perfect. I got the Cobb Salad with ranch dressing. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was good and with all the foot traffic they did an amazing job keeping everything clean. I really enjoyed my visit and staff was courteous and great! Good job Chick Fil A!!”

“First off this place is in adorable town. Everything in the town is old and looks like it hasn't changed in 100 years. This place is located right up against the railroad track and has ample parking for a downtown section. We were greeted and sat as soon as we walked in. Everyone was friendly. “Great pizza, much like their Hammond location. We had a Godfather with traditional sauce and it was as expected. Good ratio of all toppings, good crust. Had a minor miscommunication when ordering - when you say you want mozzarella sticks you may end up with the bread version and not the friend version - either way it was carb laden cheese so we weren't upset - I'd just advise being clear that you want BREADsticks or FRIED cheesesticks if you are picky. We had the buffalo wings on a previous visit before the review page was available and while the wings are of great size and are cooked well, the 'sauce' was underwhelming. Really, they were wings that were covered in a thin watery sauce that laid in a puddle in the bottom of the basket. It tasted vaguely of buffalo and was completely forgettable. I would not recommend though I will eventually try them again to determine if this was opening pains or just how they feel it should be. Finally, while I do like a sweet sauce on occasion - this sweet sauce seems cheap. Like, right out of a can, tomato sauce cheap. Overall though, the pizza (traditional sauce) is solid enough to warrant the score - and im going to venture out on the menu and continue to determine if this is a pizza only stop, or if it can be a jack of many trades.”

“I had the pleasure of dining here a few months ago. Unfortunately my husband died and i havent had a chance to review it properly. It was our first visit here . It was about an hour to closing and they were very accommodating . At tht time the lightning was too good outside so we had trouble finding it ( update : they have added better lightning) I ordered several dishes. 1. The shrimp alfredo potato was DELICIOUS ..full of shrimp . 2. Philly cheese potato, my daughter loved it. 3. Fried Rib plate , those ribs were tender as mothers love , it was served with salad and fries and the side ( Update , we ordered another day it was served with red beans ).. 4. Fried eggs were the BOMB!!! it was served with a hot sauce dip ...OmG , tasty!!!, 5. A big Mama burger, it was a little well done for me but my daughter enjoyed hers to the fullest . We doused it all down with her infamous pineapple lemonade, strawberry lemonade and regular lemonade, yes we tried them all 😅 we sat with the owner for a while actually until closing. She was absolutely inspiring telling us her family history and the reason she opened the establishment. She blessed us with some strawberry bread pudding she was working on. It was good, i cant wait to see how she has perfected it. We were to attend the grand opening but my daughter's father died and my husband soon afterwards. So we missed it. Ive heard she now has a awesome weekend brunch and new bar with drink specials. I cant wait to go see whats new. I will keep you guys posted .”
