The cafe was once a barn. There was a cow that lived in the barn whose name was Sweet Pea. That's how the cafe got its name. Friendly place to eat and wine tasting at their winery was really good. Check it out! I want to go back and visit again!

Let me be clear, every single food item I put in my mouth was delicious. This is a true example of a great meal and may have set the bar high for future restaurants. Service was impeccable and presentation exemplary. Our server Dave was gentleman and a scholar, knew everything about the dishes as well as being a mathematician. If you are in the area and they are open, GO!

Both the food and service set this wonderful restaurant apart from a lot of the other more touristy places in Bar Harbor. My parents and I arrived without a reservation on a busy Friday night but the staff kindly accommodated us for two courses of delicious appetizers from the specials menus and wonderful stone baked pizzas. The portions are generous and we ended up taking home half of our pizzas and they tasted just as a good when reheated in a frying pan the next day. Have good local alcohol and a friendly, warm atmosphere, cannot recommend highly enough.

This place was wonderful! Everything here was delicious. Right next to a winery, so it was gorgeous nearby. Plus, they have a fire pit out back where you can sip cider (alcoholic or not) and get dessert. I loved this place and would definitely go back!

We had a very nice Sunday pizza dinner here. Hand tossed thin crust in a wood fired oven with imaginative toppings. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The menu is generally based on local ingredients with high quality goods. Limited but catholic wine list and unique cocktails are offered. Pricing is fair for the value of the food and service. Expect to pay $40 or so per person including tip for full dinner and wine or cocktails.
