Adorable place to eat. We had great food and good service. They won’t seat incomplete parties (understood), and parking was crazy for us. Recommend to go early to avoid the wait. Popovers are a MUST. Shepherd’s Pie was amazing.

We decided to give 4 stars for the popovers and our server Nicole, otherwise it would have been 3 stars. Food was okay. Blueberry sorbet was also very good. The room was really lacking in any historic feel. Lighting was not good, furnishings are pretty worn and insignificant. Some national park eateries have gotten better but not here.

A classic and elegant treat. We enjoyed their famous popovers with a pot of blueberry tea. The strawberry jam was amazing on the piping hot and airy pastry. The view was second to none including a visiting butterfly. In addition, the staff was gracious, efficient, and wonderfully friendly. A must do when in Acadia.

Amazing gem in a National Park. Full service restaurant with insane views of Jordan Pond and a view of the Bubbles. Popovers are a must! Fresh & hot served with butter and strawberry preserves. Wide menu, lobster rolls looked good. Beer and wine options. Wait is usually quicker than what is written on the board. You get a pager for the wait so you can browse gift shop. Credit cards accepted. If it's pretty out, there is great outdoor seating with umbrellas. Dogs allowed outside at the restaurant. Beautiful gardens on site. 2nd level deck (accessible by elevator) provides pretty views. Nice walking paths/trails on site as well.

Took a little while to get seated but given how busy the area was and how popular this place is I wouldn’t call it excessive. We used the facilities and browsed the gift shop and were seated shortly after. The popovers and fun and delicious. The blueberry lemonade was great as well. My buffalo meatloaf sandwich was good as was my wife’s lobster stew, the kids meals as mentioned by another poster are maybe a little lacking for the price point but were fine for our kids. The real show stopper was the view, that alone made it worth every penny.
