“You can also tell if restaurant is good, by the way your take out food looks and tastes like. Last night was rainy, we didn’t want to leave our dog alone in the cottage, so we decided to order two baby back ribs special to go. The person on the phone was very friendly and helpful and our order was order in fifteen minutes. When I arrive to pick up my food the waiter was very nice and he said our ribs are ready. I paid, picked up two boxes and brought them home. The food was very nicely packed, with attention to details like making coleslaw looking pretty with addition of some chives. The ribs were probably the best I’ve ever had: tender, delicious, aromatic with lots of meat on the bones. The corn bread was also very tasty. They were on special that night, so the price was very right. We’ve been to Carriage House also last year, dining in and the food and the service were excellent. Thank you and I recommend this place to everyone.”

“This restaurant has served, hands down, some of the consistently best, and most inventive, meals I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying . . . definitely the best filet mignon ever, along with other incredible bites. The wine selections are delicious too, and even if you don't golf, it's worth joining the club just for the monthly wine tasting dinners. As well, the service has been amazing, so it surprises me to see anything but a 5 star review. I am very certain that if anyone were to have a complaint, and they mentioned it to staff at the time, it would be addressed immediately. The restaurant is open to the public, except in high season, and in that case, you can dine equally well at the beautiful Coastal Prime ocean side restaurant that is affiliated with the country club.”

“This is truly an outstanding golf course. The greens and fairways were in perfect condition. It's challenging but fair, even for average golfers. Fairways are fairly generous, greens are fast but really roll true. The staff were welcoming and courteous. First class course, first class facilities.”

“Stopped by with a friend for lunch today. We sat on the patio with my friend's dogs. Nice environment. When our pizza was delivered there were no knives, forks, napkins, or grated cheese. We had to leave the pizza on the outside table to go into the restaurant and get them. The server said she'd show us where they were. Would have been nice if the person who took our order told us to take set-ups, or even better if the server offered to get them for us. The pizza was mediocre--not a lot of flavor and not hot. Lots of other options in BBH.”

“Great dog friendly microbrewery. Also excellent pizza. We had the freedom pie and it was awesome. We loved the addition of the edible flowers. Also, the chef was very gracious in adjusting my egg allergy concerns. Not something I find in a lot of places. She even brought out the ingredient list for the dough to show me.”
