“We stop at the Smokin’ Good BBQ on our way to Portland, and it was a pleasant surprise! The service is super friendly, the prices very good and the food, smoking Good!!!! We had the brisket and it was tender, juicy and full of flavours! Everything is handmade from scratch and even the slaw (a bit zesty) and the cornbread (light and warm) were amazing. The plates were huge so we took the rest home. Don’t hesitate for a second to stop there! It was delicious and totally worth it!”

“Our waitress was lovely. Steak Marsala with deliciously crisped red potato wedges and fresh local corn was excellent. My dining companion enjoyed her very plentifully stuffed lobster roll with steak fries as well. Interesting and varied menu. Clean restroom. Mid priced. Great separation between the main restaurant eating area and the vibrant upstairs bar.”

“Ate breakfast twice. Good food. A little expensive for what you get. Blueberry pancake was excellent. Home fries were also seasoned wonderfully. Very slow service both times. If you are in a hurry, probably not a good idea. Took about 30 minutes after we ordered.”

“I've been going here for years. Service is always amazing and food is the best. I have always compared other Chinese places to the Kowloon. It's a seat yourself place but it's always good to let them see you and tell you that so they can bring you the menus and all that jazz. Good selection of drinks and a fair amount of different dishes there.”

“Cathy from chamber of commerce information center said it was the best burger ever. So we tried bacon -bacon burger and butcher burger, both was very very good. Our waitress Celina was awesome friendly, and shared lots of info about the area.”

“Great little pizza place. We ate here in July. There is no AC, so I imagine it might get a little warm on hot days, but there are lots of windows, so the breeze would probably be great. The prices are reasonable. We ordered two large pizzas, a calzone, and 6 bottles of soda. Price was a little over $50. About what I would expect to pay to feed a family of six.”

“After 15 years of providing the Bethel area with nightlife, good drinks/food, friendly service, excellent prime rib and haddock dinners, and a place for friends to come together for dancing, pool, darts, and a space highly decorated to match the different lifestyles and hobbies of it's patrons we are sad to see the Funky close, but very happy for the owner to move on to his next adventure. Wishing best of luck to the new owners, and hoping they continue providing the area a place for late night fun.”

“I was pleasantly surprised upon entering the 2 BR townhouse we rented. It was gorgeous and pretty convenient. We didn't mind the walk on the path past part of the golf course to the inn, about .6miles which took us 6-8 minutes each way. The staff was incredibly friendly and down to earth. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. The food served was amazing. We attended a wedding there and it was a gorgeous setting. Close to a downtown area as well. It had a small bike/walking path but I didn't get the chance to explore.”

“Fantastic spot. Was recommended to us by a friend who is local to the area, and it did NOT disappoint. Incredibly friendly and great employees, a perfectly twice-toasted bagel, good coffee, and a hearty breakfast burrito. Seriously impressed and will definitely be back.”

“10 stars! This truly is the definition of a hidden gem. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Riverside Lodge is a must stop. The food (made from scratch!) is incredible. The decor is adorable. The staff are attentive and kind. The owner is always available and is super knowledgeable about her menu items and the area. The saunas are the real deal. Even had the pleasure of peaking in on her cute Air BnB units. If you need a home cooked meal, delicious pizza, jaw dropping dessert, place to lay your head, an authentic detox session or all of the above: this IS the spot for you! Oh great, now I want pizza and cake. To the lodge!”

“This place is great! Can’t believe it is in downtown South Paris, it was so good to visit a place with some life in it around here. Menu was fantastic, couldn’t believe all the different options and combinations. The food I had was awesome, I had already decided on returning after the first bite. I know old school picky eaters might complain about the adventurous food on the menu but it is done very well.”

“Awesome place. Decorated with lots memories of the the Oxford Hills. Friendly service. One of the oldest places in town. Great lunch specials and other prices in general. I would go again for another family Sunday lunch.”

“Well to be honest sometimes it's hit or miss. We got really old dry chicken one time and I called and complained. The manager sent me a coupon for a new 8 piece which we used this past weekend. My husband said no wings add thighs. We get home and there is 3 wings 2 legs 1 thigh 2 breast. He packed it up and headed back. The girl said omg I'm sorry and with bare hands took out a piece and said she would add more. My husband said no you won't, you just put your bare hand in there. She had to get him a new bucket. Seriously are you people not Serv-safe trained? Other times they are spot on but I would check your order before leaving.”

“The South Paris Maine McDonald's is and has always been one of my favorite locations. Always clean, friendly, and consistent. I'm sure this may sound crazy but other McDonald's I've been to in my surrounding areas has inconsistency's in the food including flavor, being over cooked, and sometimes all the burger/chicken accessories like lettuce and tomatoes etc appear to be thrown from across the building and however they land on the food is the way they stay, from one visit to the next. South Paris has been one location that is always as expected.”

“Yes, its delicious! Top notch quality, excellent service and very affordable prices. These folks are doing it right. I would give it 6 stars if I could. My only grype is they are not supportive of my waistline management endeavors.”

“Good food but portions were skimpy. Prices were affordable. Soda was served by the pleasant staff, but by the bottle and no refills. My bench seat was cracked and taped together. The parking area tiny with no room to maneuver a larger vehicle or pickup truck. If you are on a budget, the Asia is a good place to eat or do take out. I would not have a business lunch here.”
