“My girlfriend and I had the calamari, a lamb gyro, the buffalo chicken mac and cheese, and their apple pie. All the food was delicious and came in fulfilling portions. The atmosphere is very welcoming and has a more modern, clean, put together look than just about any other restaurant I have been to in Orono. However, what really struck us was the service. Our server, Jackson, was extemely friendly and thoughtful, without being obtrusive in any way. Coupled with the good food, that made the whole experience enjoyable in a way we hadn't experienced at any other establishment in Orono.”

“Just a heads up for the local area. Starbucks in Bangor is only making "pour overs" if a bag of that coffee you want is already open. Which means, if Komodo Dragon us on tap, you can also get it as a pour over . . . why you would do that I can't fathom . . but there it is. I prefer two of their dark roasts. French and Italian. I rarely deviate from that. I don't think Starbucks even sells French Toast anymore and they rarely have Italian Roast on tap . . . and since my alternative of getting a "pour over" is no longer an option, I guess I'll be making my coffee exclusively at home. They sell both at Target in Whole Bean. They only sell Italian at Starbucks itself. I'll miss stopping in for a cup of my favorite coffee.”

“Off the Charts. Bangor is blessed with a great restaurant community and Utopia is a great addition! They knock it out of the park on all fronts--food, service and atmosphere. The menu is eclectic and everything is good. The wine list is fantastic and tailored to the food. There's also an excellent selection of craft beers. A Med inspired menu and the skill to pull it off is not to be missed. Pricewise this is a great value as this was akin to a better Portland restaurant meal at a far better price. If you are looking for a change in pace and taste, please give Utopia a try.”

“We've been anxiously waiting for the Bangor Sandwich Company to open, especially after hearing they'd be serving Detroit style pizza. We're very familiar with that pizza and just looking at pictures we got very excited. I am happy to report that we were not disappointed, at all! In fact, I didn't even get pictures of the whole pizza's as we just dug right in! We are excited to go back and try other foods they are offering, but were very happy with the pizza!!”

“The staff was friendly and responsive. I scheduled via email and checked out the menu online beforehand so I could let them know what to prepare. The theater room sat 8. We had 4 comfortably spaced. We couldn't hear anything going on in the rest of the establishment. The screen was a great size, with surround sound.They have over 1700 movies to choose from. Plus their arcade games and board games. Everyone should try this spot out!”
