“Was here 25 years ago when the girl was a bikers dream. It was wild rough and fun. It's 2023 I'm back again. Less bikers, but still, great people. Modern and fun updated and a great place to come, eat and drink while hanging with friends. And one of the best line cooks in the state out back.”

“Oh my gosh. Pros and cons. It’s very pricey. I got 3 things tonight and spent $90 but it was AMAZING. I will be returning for a special occasion meal. But the meat was tender the sauce was flavorful, the rice was cooked perfectly, the naan was out of this world. If you aren’t on a budget this place is the place to be. ♥️♥️”

“I feel bad not leaving a 5 star review. In a world where reviews are important, I like to say positive things. I was really disappointed in my first experience. I live local and was truly hoping for a better experience. The reason I’m choosing 3 stars is that our server, Charity, was fantastic! She was super friendly and attentive even though she was busy. Charity deserves 5 stars! The food was decent - 3 stars. The drinks were awful - 1 star. I went for lunch with 3 of my my friends. We shared appetizers, a small pizza and each had 3 margaritas. Our bill was almost $300. I don’t mind paying for good food and drinks. I wouldn’t have been upset at the price if the quality was better. I would be shocked if the margaritas had 1/2 oz of tequila in them. They were so bad that when we ordered our last round, we each ordered a side of tequila to go with it. The sides weren’t even a full shot of tequila and the cost was $54 just for the 4 sides of tequila. The cost was really outrageous for the quality. I hope that things improve and you’re able to stay open. It’s nice to have options in a small town.”

“Highly recommend this establishment. The food is fantastic. We all had burgers and everything was seasoned well. Very large portions so be prepared to take some home. It is a little small in the business but if you go between lunch and dinner it isn't much of a wait. They could use one more staff member to help but the two women did a very well job helping each other between the bar and serving food. Such a great place.”

“Been rafting numerous times on different rivers with Three Rivers, along with kayaking and tubing. We've had an awesome guide every time; all very knowledgeable of the river, and great people to be around. I never doubt their skill navigating the river and we always feel comfortable knowing that they can handle an emergency if one were to arise. This was the first year we brought children (youngest one age 10), and the guides did a wonderful job with them - helping them out, comforting them about the rapids, and praising them for their hard work and bravery. Along with the guides, the staff is also very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the bunkhouses at the Kennebec location this year - they are clean, very spacious, and the mattresses were way more comfortable than I thought they would be! The shower/bath houses were also extremely clean and well taken care of. The store is awesome, has everything you need! And the restaurant/bar is great, too!”

“Stopped for dinner and had the most delicious meal! The salad was fresh and crispy with a sweet peanut dressing, and the tofu triangles were so dang good! It can be hard to find good vegan options when we're traveling, but this place was a pleasant surprise. Wonderfully friendly staff, too. Would gladly visit Thaiger 2 Go again!”

“What a wonderful whitewater rafting experience !! I highly recommend it. We stayed in the cabins for two nights, had all our weekend meals at Patrick's Pub on site, and did the Ultimate Turbine Test on the Kennebec River. Everything about it was outstanding! All the staff, from the check in people to the restaurant servers to the guides were so friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and appreciated. Our guide was Gabe, and he was fantastic all day. He trained us well and always told us in advance what to expect. And he assured us that if anyone fell out of the raft into the river, or if the raft flipped, everything would be alright and advised us to remain calm. Well, I fell out! It was an exciting and thrilling experience. I stayed calm, and Gabe very skillfully dragged me back into the raft. Thanks, Gabe! And on we continued!!! Definitely one of the most fun days of my life !!!!”

“really tasty, fresh food & quick service!! Highly recommend since they have good prices too! It's a brand new owner/cooks/kitchen staff, who happened to hire some of the full-time workers (cashier & take phone orders) who were there before. We all know how hard it is hiring new workers, especially in the food service, in the current economy. I'm grateful they have the extra help to sustain business - there are help wanted/now hiring signs everywhere. I feel like the bad reviews stem from people hating on the previous owners of Dragon Sea and the restaurant not being buffet?”

“We have been visiting Maine for the last 6 years in September, but have never experienced a Maine winter. This year we decided to give it a try, and yet again, Maine didn’t disappoint. The incredible scenery paired with the amazing experience we had at The Birches made for a week we did not want to see end. Every staff member was incredibly helpful and friendly, the cabin was clean and just what we needed, the access to snowmobile trails was top notch, the service and food at the Lodge was wonderful, and the entire resort was pet friendly. We plan to return next year!”

“What a wonderful afternoon spent at Sawyer’s Maple Farm. No it’s not spring and no it’s not maple season. It’s Maple weekend here in Jackman. Took a tour down back and thru the sugar house. Lots of information and knowledge was shared about the progress of making maple syrup. We might of bought a few products to bring home. Wonderful family run business. Check them out.”
