“So the good before the bad. They people are nice and the food came out warm We had a large group and I understand that it is hard. But if you can not handle a large group please be fair to the people you are serving and say so. Parts of the food order came out in segment and that was cool, but then a 15 minute wait after the first group so some of the children had food and others did not. And the last thing that came out was a salad that came out another 10-15 minutes after the second group had been fed. Understand their are not lots of people who are working the food business up here. Just be honest and say you can’t handle the size. Lastly my little sister loved the butter.”

“When I was outside, some traffic that drove by honked their horns and yelled. I assume good times are often had here.... My burger was average but I ordered it without expectations anyways. My buddy had the Thai Fried Rice, which is well-known as delicious in the area. Also, the only asian cuisine around for miles. Above all, super-friendly staff that interacts with the guests. Theres even a couple resident pooches that many customers adored. Indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect atmosphere for this part of Maine ?”

“We stayed here om a part of our whitewater rafting experience. The inn was great, staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious. We ended up staying an additional night after whitewater rafting so that we didn't have to drive several hours after such a fun experience. We also appreciated the whirlpool tub in the king sized rooms. I would highly recommend the Inn by the River and stay here again when we're in the area.”

“These guys are great. Good portions for a fair price and the food is awesome! We arrived 15min before closing, (not realizing this) and no one scoffed or even remotely displayed any disgust. We had our food at 3 min to close and when we asked of it was ok to dine inside they said, "you are welcome to but we are closing up but its no problem."
