“I stopped by on a long morning drive. I had it pop up as on the way when I was planning, and I saw that they make their own English muffins. And BOY. This was SO much more than promised. I wandered in around 9 AM, and they had a pile they had just pulled out of the oven. They were still working on dough in the back. And as we talked, they told me they make their own breakfast burritos some days, too. And I'm glad I missed burrito day because I had to RUN back to my car to avoid buying 10 more muffins. I got a sausage and cheese muffin, and it was PERFECT. If you haven't had a freshly made English muffin, you gotta stop by and find out the truth: They're sweet, a little chewy, and so flavorful. It's almost a different food entirely from the mass made stuff. I was also able to just walk across the street and eat my food overlooking the ocean. And the area is really beautiful as well. I don't know. I'm back home after visiting Maine, and I'm definitely having flashbacks to this breakfast. I had to get up at 6 AM to fit this little stop into my adventure, and I wish I had gotten up earlier so I could've justified getting 3.”

“Cottage was cute, cozy, well-decorated, and clean. Our cottage didn't have a TV, but that really wasn't a problem because we can watch TV at home. Bed was reasonably comfortable, bedding was fresh, but pillows were so uncomfortable. The bathroom wasn't huge, but it was clean and met our needs. There was an adorable porch with seating, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was basic, but fresh. Would stay here again, but would bring my own pillows.”

“Enjoyed the lobster and crab meat rolls, coleslaw was great but didn't care for the French fries. The rolls were on 8” buns which are larger than most. All claw and knuckle meat which is the sweetest part of a lobster and which I LOVE. And the view sitting outside on the deck was lovely. I believe you can also get seafood broiled. Nice people and establishment.”

“We enjoyed the 8 oz lobster roll! It was the best we ever tasted! It was very pricey but thought it was worth every penny! If you find yourself in the area, we would highly recommend stopping in to savor this luscious sandwich”

“It was a cold and rainy Friday night in May. We decided to go somewhere warm and the Whale's Tooth did not disappoint. I had beer battered fish and chips served in newspaper. Literally. Heavy on the batter, but it was delicious. The portion sizes were enough for two. I also had butternut squash, which had brown sugar and nutmeg(?). It was delicious. My dining partner had the broiled scallops and they were cooked to perfection. We shouldn't have had dessert, but the choices were so tempting, we did. I had the coconut banana pie, she had peach and blueberry cobbler. It was warm and cozy, there was live entertainment, and the food was very good.”

“Nice little general store. Prices are a bit steep but the ambience is nice. Very homey, seemed like some locals frequent this place. Didn’t have bacon! ☹️”
