518 Noodle Bar is definitely my new favorite restaurant in Kittery! They have an authentic menu, fresh ingredients and amazing food. The owners are some of the most hard working, friendly people I know. If you’re looking to support a local business and enjoy delicious, homemade Chinese cuisine - this is the place for you! ????????

A strong start! 518 Noodle Bar becomes Kittery’s second Asian noodle restaurant and does it with Chinese authenticity. Parking is out back, accessible parking up front. Some locals may recall, this is where Domino’s pizza was located before this plaza was recently renovated.
This delicious noodle bar has been open for less than two weeks, so the menu will be modified. We went twice. Once for dinner on New Year’s Day, and later that weekend for lunch. Some items aren’t available at lunchtime as they are being prepared fresh for dinner.
Select dim sum dishes, well seasoned appetizers like fantastic spicy fall-oof-the-bone ribs, pillowy soft pork (or beef or duck) buns that come in pairs, lettuce beef cups, and choices of bao will satisfy all. And haha, as a nod to their address, some appetizers cost $5.18. Namesake noodle dishes come with or without broth, udon and traditional ramen.
Seating is limited, so expect a very short wait during peak meal times. If this keeps up, they may need to rearrange the table layout or move! The clientele is a broad representation of the area: I saw children, families with college kids, couples both young and young at heart, local movers and shakers, and customers looking for a reminder of the food they grew up with. Looks like 518 Noodle Bar will be here for a while!
