“Stopped in for lunch as a last minute option (Thistle Pig was closed). I had the Benedict special and my husband had a veggie wrap. Both were unfussy but thoughtful cafe fare. I liked that I could see into the kitchen and I definitely felt a "friend's house" vibe. If I lived in the area it would be a regular spot for sure.”

“Ok it's a new location and staff is still training but how hard is it not to overload a cup with ice. Granted most locations have the same problem. It might be how the staff is trained. More ice less coffee means less cost and more profit. Only complaint is not making the coffee as it is ordered. Otherwise great attitude and service.”

“My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Atelier Crenn on our most recent trip to San Francisco. What a truly unique experience! From the minute we walked into the restaurant, the service was excellent. Great attention to detail and the food was extremely inventive. Chef Crenn weaving an intricate story through her dishes, a fine balance between art and flavours. A few of the dishes did miss the mark for us though, one being too salty and the other being too acidic. But otherwise, all the dishes were beautifully presented and the flavour combinations left me wanting more! Highlights of the night were the geoduck with sea urchin, spiny lobster with seaweed and whey, abalone with cabbage and smoke creme, and the Mt. Lassen trout. Favourite dessert of the night, coconut and pineapple. Definitely a pricey dinner, but worth the experience!”
