“I had The Pickle Rick and it was SO delicious! I love pizza and this pizza was thin which was amazing but the crust!!! The crust was so light and fluffy it was truly the best I’ve had. It’s not greasy and overwhelming like most pizzas so I didn’t feel gross after eating it. You know how most pizza places when you’re done eating you feel awful and wish you hadn’t eaten it. Not here!!! I actually wanted more when I was done!!! So so good. Highly recommend.”

“Got to try the Sauced Savage at a car show and my son and I both were pretty impressed with their food. It was definitely the first time I've ever had nachos with cheese and pulled pork with barbecue sauce together in one dish, nice idea for sure. “We stayed at the Comfort Inn next door, and came over around 11pm on 7/30 for some late night snacks. There was TWO employees, working extremely hard to keep things going. One of the customers (presumably drunk) screamed at the manager on duty, and he handled it like a champ, all while preparing food. Those two gentlemen were absolutely KILLING it and deserve acknowledgement. I wish I could give 10 stars.”

“This is an update to my review of about a year ago. Rather than allow one bad experience to override the good, which includes a convenient location and good food, we decided to give Oscars another chance. We have been treated courteously on each visit and the food is still good. Actually, we've become regulars and will remain so unless we feel that the service declines in the future. My wife and I have been to Oscar’s a number of times since it opened and for the most part the food was good, for pub food, and the service was pleasant and fairly efficient. So why only two stars? The crowded parking lot indicates that so far, Oscar’s has been well received and I believe that their success may have given at least some of the staff the idea that they can treat customers with disdain. Specifically, I called last Tuesday asking for a reservation for a party of seven at 6pm on Friday. The person who answered, Anna, said that they do not take reservations later than 5:30 on Friday, Saturday and I believe she also said Sunday. As 5:30 was actually the time my group had originally planned to meet, I told her that 5:30 would be fine. Her response was that she’d still have to check with her manager. After a couple of minutes on hold, she returned and said that her manager said it would be OK, but we all had to arrive at the same time. Then she had the nerve to ask if I understood. The implication being that if only six of us made it promptly and the seventh was somewhat delayed, they would do a headcount at the door and turn us away. Now whether or not they want to take reservations is clearly their decision to make; however, I will not allow any establishment that wants my business to treat me in a condescending manner. So even though Oscar’s location is very convenient for me, I will no longer patronize them, at least not until the crowd moves on to the next new pub in Frederick and they return to treating their customers as welcome guests.”

“This is our favorite Royal Farms. I've earned so many free coffees, and pieces of chicken over the years. Their gas prices are usually better than anywhere but in town Damascus. The always clean bathrooms have been a lifesaver on many a trip. Our childs number one stop for hot chocolate. Usually when we take a night drive or something this is the only place open as it's still 24hrs. I hit it up to get a coffee since it's ground right there and I take mine black, and my partner gets his usual Starbucks up around the corner. The chicken is really good, not as crispy as I usually like it, but everyone in my family says I like "jerky chicken". The rest of the food is so so, but the spicy tenders...oh man that's what I'm talking about. It's a decent kick and if you dip it in the Chesapeake sauce, you're in fried food heaven. We usually get the around midnight crew and they are really kind and awesome. They get a laugh out of how much my kid likes the car wash and have even given us a free one every now and then because of their enthusiasm. I've seen the poor staff be completely overwhelmed and it's not really fair to judge them. Now they have a self check out area but before these folks had to fry chicken, ring up gas, and keep the lobby clean. It's a lot when it's busy. I love this place and don't know what I'd do without it really. Get the ROFO rewards card, you get free stuff so easy and if you link it to your bank as a payment card all gas is 10c off.”

I am very critical of lasagna and every Italian restaurant I go to I always order it and without a doubt I have never had any better includingrestaurantsinNY city. Along with the very generous portion you also get a nice salad and 6 large pieces of garlic bread. The guy that rated it a 1 must have been a disgruntled customer or had an issue to begin with. “This is one of the 5 restaurants at the food court inside the H Mart Asian supermarket. It's the only one detached from the rest at the far end next to the restrooms. The way you go about ordering your food is a bit unusual. You would look around at each restaurant for the menu as well as mock samples and decide what you want. Then you have to go to a centralized ordering station, which is the second station from the back, to make your order and pay for your food. The number on your receipt would be announced via the loud speaker when your food is ready. But there's a twist - you have to pick up your food at the respective restaurant. If you order from multiple restaurants, you'd have no idea which one is ready when you hear your number announced. This could be confusing and frazzling, especially if you've never been here before, and/or you have a big party and your orders are all over the place! We've tried Sogongdong twice so far. The soft tofu stew (soondubu) is very standard, using the standard soondubu serving vessels and ingredients. They come piping hot and with a raw egg and 2 banchan sides. I've always had the seafood variety and I would recommend you the same. Unless you can't take seafood, there's simply no comparison how much more tasty the seafood broth is. I've tried the beef/seafood combo but I would not recommend it. The beef is almost always tough. Price is a bit cheaper than other soondubu joints, but you only get 2 banchan sides compared to 6-8. On the most recent visit, the sides were kimchi and pickled cucumbers. Tip: don't feel abashed to ask for banchan refill. They won't cringe. Also, make sure you crack the egg into the broth while it's still piping hot. I think this is my favorite among the restaurants at this H Mart food court. Give it a try when you're in town.”

“Downtown Frederick has needed a really good Indian restaurant for quite a while, and at last it is here! We enjoyed the buffet lunch and were quite impressed. Our server, Heather, was happy to answer questions about the food, and made sure our drinks were refreshed before we even asked. We asked her about the availability of alcohol-free beers and she said there were none, but came back about ten minutes later and said she had spoken to the manager about adding them to the menu. The food was awesome (highly recommend the goat curry!), and Heather told us the selections change from day to day. We can't wait to go back!”

“We absolutely love this cafe. It is run by an Italian family, who are very welcoming and serve authentic and delicious Italian food and coffee. For lunch today, we split a large and excellent sandwich with ricotta and prosciutto, and one of the best cappuccinos in town. They also serve very good and affordable coffee (in addition to their espresso-based drinks). With lots of seating, great ambiance and music, and one of the best spots for enjoying downtown historic Frederick, this has become one of our go-to places, both as a family and for work lunches. They also have long hours, which is super convenient and somewhat unusual for downtown Frederick.”

“We visited around noon on a weekday. Had enough patrons to be able to tell it was a nice lunch spot, but not crowded. Buffalo chicken wrap was large and very good. Fries were cooked well. Wife had burger and salad, also good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was a little pricey for the fare. Billiards table rentals where extremely affordable; I think it was $5 an hour for a table.”
